    While the description says "tool only" it does come with one each of a bi-metal th-cam.com/users/postUgkx0vyBwjtx9GGOuiqUVT2sRoYqmDoNT_RI and HCS blade plus an adaptor plate for non-DeWalt blades. Wish I had known that before I bought the blade kit, but oh well. Since I already have a DeWalt drill, charger and batteries there was no need to buy more of those so this was a great deal.There is one other consideration. DeWalt does't sell the depth guide separately so you need to buy the three parts which make it up -- the N275350 block assy, the N275341 metal rod and the N278801 knob. Amazon does sell all three.

      That's a lie the dewalt flexvolt 60v is the best and far more powerful and cuts way faster!

      The dewalt isn't even close hikoki would be second and Milwaukee third dewalt is one of the worst recip saws not the best

      @@ashtonlowe6761 you haven't used the newest dewalt flexvolt Recip saw than. Hell project farm done a test with the older 20v saw and it came out on top cut the fastest and was far more powerful than the others if he would of tested the flexvolt 60v in that test it would have destroyed them easily. The 60v flexvolt is far more powerful and cuts way faster then the older 20v version. The only reason I could think of why he didn't test it is because it's 60v and knew it wouldn't be a match vs the others.

    AM I the only one that think all these rolling storage units are dumb?? You first have to stack and unstack them to get to your tools. Quite a lot of efforts to lift and unlift the HEAVY packed chests.
    WHY NOT just invent a rolling metal or plastic cabinets/storage units with drawers. I will never buy the FLEX or any other mfg's cuz it's DUMB!!!

    i LOVE those one handed or tooless blade ejector type things, im surprised it wasnt ALWAYS orbital, i consider that a requirement just like a rafter hook

    Nice video my friend! Makita tools are just like Milwaukee tools! Just made and look better 😉

  • @TacticalThib
    @TacticalThib 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Seems like it would bind in demo 🤔 😳 did you see it bind twice 🤔

    • @Shoptoolreviews
      @Shoptoolreviews  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      It really didn't bind. The blade grabbed as soon as I hit the trigger and the system triggered the tool to shut down. As long as I pulled the trigger to get the blade moving, then entered the wood, it was fine. This is a feature that basically saves the tool if the blade were to get jammed by some means. Thanks for watching.

    It’s not exactly gen 1 vs gen 2 but rather a step up. Just like milwaukees sawzall vs Milwaukee super sawzall w/orbital action. However the anti vibration is insane and nothing Milwaukee has to offer

    I have several brands and what i can say about the 40v makita is that the electronics on tool and battery makes them last forever. I had a Milwaukee grinder very, VERY powerful but the lack of electronics makes a battery last 3 months on intensive use. Makita 40v in other hand have a soberb battery management so my 40V batteries are lasting more than a year with severe use of several ours a day in a 40V Makita grinder. I am done buying Milwaukee batteries all my new tools are makita now. I have the 80V grass cutter that pit my old 35cc gas one on early retirement 😅. Many brands came make powerful tools but how many have advances battery management that makes batteries last 3...4x MORE compared with other brands? Only Makita. I am not a fan of makita, I have Bosch, DeWalt (best mitter saw in my opinion), Milwaukee but hands dow battery management in Makita are years away from competition.

    This isn't a second generation. It's like saying a Milwaukee super sawzall is the second gen sawzall. This is a completely different class of recip, to their first 40v one.

    How 40v? Its impossible it must be divisible with 1.2 so 36v or 42v..

      Marketing! 40V sounds better than 36V

    • @Willg95
      @Willg95 ปีที่แล้ว

      40v is the maximum charge on the cells in the battery. They didn't call it a 36 volt because they had a previous iteration of tools in 36v in their lxt x2 system. Just like 20v is the maximum charge for other battery systems. Makita lxt 18v battery fully charged is 20v
