    Hey I listen all your video and you talk about multiple sclerosis. I have ms for 8 years now but doctors say I should have been diagnosed sooner. I have urinary urgency but my neurologist didn't give it much value and also " treated me" whit painful exams and tubes in my special place (what is a great way to make someone think that urinary urgency is perfectly normal). I'm new here and I didn't see the other videos on the topic yet, I'm going to do that now. I'm just thankful that someone don't dismiss a complaint!! You are an amazing person that explain everything whit calm and coherency. You make me feel a lot better about myself (and not like a crazy person). You are really great!

My face and scalp start sweating profusely and I look tired so quickly. I really need a solution and heard a few good reviews about this medication. I was diagnosed with IC nearly 20 years ago. It’s wasn’t a horrible case but it was life and diet altering. Almost three months ago my Biote hormone doctor mentioned Biote Urox+ to me. Sure, I’ll try it. I didn’t expect much as nothing has ever helped. Oh my goodness! Urox+ is awesome! I am back to a normal diet and I only get up once or twice at night to void. I definitely suggest trying this if you have bladder issues, it could help.

    I take Solifenacin at night because of the large quantities of water I need to drink for my genetic kidney disease. I was having issues with keeping my bed dry and the constant urge to pee was making it hard to sleep. The dry mouth is annoying, but it's a price I'm happy to pay for better sleep and I noticed a definite difference when I started the medication. The Solifenacin also comes in handy when I need to remove a stent, stents are awful and my poor bladder hates them!

      intersting!... I have a similar problem;. I have a healthy bladder etc, but i have a long term diuretic state, have to take sea salt + lots fluids to replenish,,, which fills my bladder more rapidly than average person, over-exciting the stretch receptors.
      I would like to ask my uro for bladder botox injections, to make the bladder more relaxed, and honestly of Greater capacity, to accommodate diureis. I must ask on this main thread; Surely this is ok - to make the bladder bigger like this!?

One of the drawbacks to the meds that I found , in addition to the ones you mentioned is the fact that you can take only one dose per day. Also I found that it's not effective except for about 6 hrs. I had not heard about the possible cognitive side effects. Again thank you for the valuable information you make available.

The ultrasound was repeated a few weeks later and everything was normal (only 25 cc pvr). No other symptoms. Hi, is it safe to take oxybutynin in my early 20s? I got prescribed 5mg twice a day because I wake up during the night (2-3 times) to go the bathroom. The reason for my question is that I read online that it can do some damage to the brain and increase risk of dementia, so I decided to take 1 pill every few days instead. By the way, I’ve seen a positive impact after I took my first pill, it definitely lowered the frequency. Your advice will be much appreciated, thank you!

The current medication which i've been on for a month; I pee on average once every 2-3 hours. Prior to medication, I was having to pee every 30 minutes. Occasionally, I can go every 4-5 hours without peeing.

      @Scofield It depends, impossible for me to answer. That is a conversation for you and your Urologist. Some response to medication, some need medication their entire life. Some don't want to take a pill for the rest of their life and go the surgical route.

    I have a healthy bladder etc, but i have a long term diuretic state, have to take sea salt + lots fluids, electrolytes to replenish,,, which fills my bladder more rapidly than average person, over-exciting the stretch receptors.
    I would like to ask my local uro for bladder botox injections, to make the bladder more relaxed, and honestly of Greater capacity, to accommodate diureis. Surely this is ok - to 'make the bladder bigger' like this!? Thanx x

      @valve0radio 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @Jibon Sarkar *If you are asking if it helpeD? ; I have not had it yet. but my Uro approved botox injections during my annual January cystoscopy !, so i will be able to report then!
      *If you are asking How does it help? ; then - it relaxes the bladder wall, so it can stretch further, without getting excited to contract, or - it doesn't sense fullness as much.

      update; Since my 2 previous comments; i am verry happy with the injections! i have had it 4 times now!;
      at about 6 - to 9 mnths apart;
      1st) was 100 units ; but was not very noticeable,...
      2nd) time was 150 units - only slightly better
      3rd) 200 units - effective for a short while..
      4th) 200 units again , but more effective! i can hold Loads more volume - for longer, without urgency, and no over sensitivity caused from a big hold, as the bladder wall muscles dont over exert themselves. another obs; getting ones hands wet, or feet cold, doesnt trigger the urgency!. Took a couple weeks to take effect. There was a week or so where double voiding was necessary to empty the last 300ml.
      Hopefully these regular Larger volumes held will develop bigger lasting capacity!?!

    I really don’t want to go on meds for my OA bladder. My mom thinks I should . I’m in my 20s and have a couple disabilities. Would the cognitive side effects potentially have negative consequences for people with autism?

    I was put on Oxybutynin by my urologist and had to immediately stop it after a week because i would go to pee and sit on the toilet for 20+ mins trying to push my pee out. My doctor knew this was going to happen and still put me on the meds for my over active bladder. She told me to stop it immediately cause my bladder could explode. I went from having an over active bladder to my bladder being too relaxed where i couldn’t pee. Once i got off those pills i went back to normal having my over active bladder.
