    i have a doubt mam, in zero order reaxn rate is also directly proportional to the initial conc. according to the format as you wrote then how u said that it is independant of initial concentration.

      Perumal K I will try to explain it to you...
      At 5:35 she clearly mentioned independency of rexn w.r.t to concemtration of reactant..
      And If you really want to know that if rate doesn't depend on initial concentration of reactant then on what constant "k" it really depends..
      For e.g-
      C + O2---->CO2
      This reaction is a zero order reaction ( as it is a Absorption reaxn )
      here the rate is directly dependent on ''Crossectional Area''
      Conc. of carbon and oxygen have no role to decide the rate...

      Rate is depend on the concentration of the reactant to the power 0 that is A0 not the concentration of the reactant that is A
