    With the Asian tofu recipes, before you marinade try freezing it in the block. Literally home from the store, throw it in the freezer and take it out about 4-6 hours before you want to marinade to defrost. Changes the texture entirely.
    I bake it sometimes in the marinade and a teaspoon of cornstarch to make it a bit crisp on the outside.

    Wow, I am so glad you came up on my feed!
    I actually have half a can of coconut milk that I put into ice cubes because I didn’t know what to do with it. That curry tofu sounds excellent.

    The glazed tofu looked delicious. I can see it topped with pineapple rings and served as a centrepiece for a roast dinner.

    I've recently learned that if you add cubed tofu to boiling water for 2 minutes then pat dry before marinating, the tofu will absorb more marinade. I know it sounds crazy, but boiling the tofu removes more water from the tofu 👍

      @@lornadarren1287 I always freeze my tofu blocks, defrost them and then press them! Doing this extracts so much more water and makes the tofu able to absorb more flavours too 👍

      @@carley_ad I recommend around 40 minutes for the baking stage. 55 minutes results in a jerky like texture. Alternatively you could make the slices thicker. No need to season or baste before putting in the oven, you can add all the seasoning at the end when you reduce the broth down.

    Have you ever had Genetic Testing for Folate Absorption Issues? It’s a very simple fix, just need a Chelated B Vitamin Complex.
    Vegans shouldn’t have Celiac, there’s something else going on.

      I’ve never! But I’m also positive I had celiac before I went vegan lol it’s genetic for me!
