This is our first IVF got positive .we were happy but after 9 weeks no heart beat Dr asked as to go for D&C .so sad .planning to do second IVF

Congratulations!! My husband and I were ttc for over a year and had a fertility appt scheduled for today (9/11/18). However we found out just 2 weeks ago that we were finally pregnant! Were six weeks along now too!

I am three days post first transfer and I think it didn’t work already, I literally had every pregnancy symptoms the day of transfer the mimicked the same symptoms I had pregnant with my son the smell of my diffusers set me off even my bath wash literally felt that feeling again and than the next day nothing - like absolutely nothing I’m hoping I’m wrong

Even my is 4 days past FET..but I m not feeling any major symptoms..have light cramping which is manageable..
If you’re undergoing IVF (in-vitro fertilisation) treatment (an assisted conception method), you may also experience light bleeding (spotting) after embryo transfer. Light bleeding occurs when an embryo implants into the uterine wall. During the process, small capillaries in the wall are ruptured, resulting in mild bleeding or spotting.
Another symptom you may have post-transfer is bloating. This happens when the ovaries are stimulated using hormone injections (for multiple egg development) more than they would be on a natural cycle, which may result in bloating. As the ovaries remain active during your pregnancy, this can make you feel bloated.
Bloating, however, shouldn’t be used as an indicator of successful implantation since it may be a sign of some problem. Unusual bloating should be reported to your doctor right away.
Additional physical symptoms that indicate a pregnancy include:
swollen breasts
headaches
nausea/morning sickness
mood swings
sore/tender breasts
fatigue
lower back pain

Jones Kim don't focus on numbers! I only had 13 eggs retrieved!! We only had 5 that ended up passing genetic testing. I am now 6.5 weeks pregnant ♥️
I'm currently going through ivf myself on Sunday I go for my egg retrieval I have 4 follicles 2 of them has grown big size 21 and 19 the other 2 is a size 12 and 14 I'm so nervous

I had mine on a Wednesday same timeline as yours. Same symptoms as you. I have my beta blood test in two days. I’ve been so irritable the past few days. My poor husband.
Its 12th day of my transfer pls pray for me to have positive beta hcg..

The friends that did not have successful IVF were they overweight or obese ?? Or were they healthy active girls under 35 years of age that still had a failed IVF?

Hi Chelsea ! Congratulations on your good news ! Did you had any pain or heaviness on your breast . I had my FET on 7th of September.( no symptoms until now , guys please pray for me ….. I am very nervous about my results though fully positive)
My wife right now is in 7 th day after ivf embryo transfer. She says no symptoms at all except slightly backpain + breast tenderness + sometimes feverish. Is it common for all??we can't decide is it because of medics or something we don't want to happen.....!!!
Help us to know more better about it. My wife is so much tensed about it. Shall we go for Home kit?? If it's so when do we start??
Im sort of in the same boat as your spouse.
Its my 5th day day post transfer and I feel nothing.
This is my 2nd round. During the 1st time, i felt like I was pregnant during the 2WW but that could be frm the meds and also psychological factors.
My Dr advised me not to do any home tests but rather wait for the beta hcg levels as scheduled by the doctor.
The reason being if u do a home test, some ppl do get a false negative and then what most will do is to stop the medications that is suppose to support the pregnancy. The concern is that you may unintentionally cause your own failure because of missing meds and assuming your ivf failed whn it may in fact be viable. Im told that everybody is different and there are people who do experience any pregnancy symptoms until much later in the pregnancy.
So, the best is to stay postive and treat your body well while u go thru the 2WW.
Hope for the best but prepare for the worse.

Doing my beta test tomorrow. Tested yesterday and I got a negative. Really hoping it’s a false negative. Only experienced cramping and sore boobs which are getting better as if the they are disappearing 😢

I have my embryo transfer on 14th of August and I am on my 5th day and these symptoms that you mentioned is not present on me. I feel like i maybe not pregnant. I am getting paranoid of the waiting game. The only thing i am been having is mood swings and just some headaches but i think it might probably due to the progesterone that i have been taking. I am getting agitated to know if i am pregnant or not.

hi congratulation its my first time doing my IVf n I did my transfer last Wednesday on the 7th July 2021 n our blood test is on the 21st July 2021 some of the symptom you mention i have got I am so nervous fingers crossed n pray i will be like you and get it first go i end up with 17 eggs 15 fertilized out of the 15 we got 5 frozen embryo im 40 n it will be my first if it works

Do they numb you or put you to sleep for the transfer ?
They do not. It's not painful... just a little uncomfortable because they have to open up your cervix.

Hii. i am on FET Transfer 2 days before, but i am not feeling as much symptoms. is itr normal?
2 days before the transfer or 2 days before the beta blood test. Everyone is so different, these are just my symptoms. I’m not sure what would be defined as normal.

I agree with u. It sounded really odd. Of course, there are some rare instances in which two spouses who both have uteruses are each inseminated simultaneously and conceive successfully. If that’s you, then congratulations-post the “we’re pregnant!” status update now. For everyone else, I have two simple, accurate and infinitely less eye-roll-inducing words for you: “We’re expecting.”
