So I tried the mermaid styles, sure it makes me look slim but i just never felt right. I ended up finding my perfect dress in a ball gown style with a sweetheart neckline! And I’m 4”11!

I don't care what the magazines say. I'm going to wear a ballgown/A-line. It will be big and long and I will look like a princess. All this anti-short girl propaganda makes me want to vomit.
I’m 4’11” and have a short waist. I have tried on tops with either empire waist or no fitted waist at all like the sheath style and they look horrible on me. Those styles look better on someone with a longer waist/torso. I need to stick with tops with fitted waists cause they look better and more natural for my portions.
Chi, I know what you mean by a princess gown, it’s a traditional fitted bodice with very full skirt. But, princess styling is a very specific cut, it’s also called a cote-hardie style, and consists of full-length, slender panels seamed together. It’s a very fitted, flattering style for almost everyone, and can be in any dress, coat, or long jacket.
I'm 160cm 5''3 and I wore 11,5cm heels with my wedding dress, it was a ball gown and it looked perfect on me. I think if you are taller than 5" 2 with high heels it can look good on you. Most of the females from where I'm from are between 5"0 and 5"5 so I think my height isn't that petite after all

I am 4’9 and I forget how short I am until tall people take photos of me/watch videos like these 😂😂
For plus size petite women, avoid strapless styles, also, especially if very full-busted. They aren’t flattering for full bodies.
