    LOL, in Texas there is no size limit on channels and blues. There is a limit on how many over 20"

      Mudcats are bullheads usually yellow in color here in northern west Texas.

    TPWD has special catfish regulations for Lewisville Lake. "The daily bag and possession limit = 25 blue and channel catfish in any combination. In the 25-fish bag, no more than 5 fish 20 inches or greater in length may be retained, and no more than 1 of those can be 30 inches or longer." I know you don't show measurements in the video but most of the ones you kept looked to be 20+ inches.

      This is my home lake for the last 45 yrs. I can’t stand to see such blatant disregard for our resource. I’m going to chalk it up as inexperience. I warned the guy so hopefully he realizes he’s messed up but if I see it again I’m reporting him to the Game Warden

    • @Bryan_Outdoors
      @Bryan_Outdoors  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      You are correct, the video does not show everything and everyone. I am aware of the limit and regulations. Thank you for your concern and am against poachers and people that over harvest. I have witnessed it and it makes me sick. I’m am not the one you are after. I can promise you that.

    • @ElGatoAzulTV
      @ElGatoAzulTV 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@Bryan_Outdoors I’m not after anyone. I’m not afraid to stand up for big fish conservation and responsible harvest though when I see someone in clear violation

      I wasn't trying to come after you, just made an observation trying to let you know if you didn't already. I'm glad to see folks using the lake to fish instead of tearing it up with their ski boats and jet skis. Looks like you know what you're doing so maybe I'll give it a shot when I can get a little time off work

    The fact that you pull the hooks from the fish before you put them in the boat may be one of the worst ways I’ve ever seen to get one off the line 🤷‍♂️

    • @Bryan_Outdoors
      @Bryan_Outdoors  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      HAHA, you’re absolutely right my friend! I have been doing really well on wind blown points. Normally I would never do that & if I had done that with my buddy’s that really needed fish, I’d had to swim home. I wasn’t worried about losing them, turned out to be a nice day and not a soul in site, just enjoying the day. I was going to run it 3 times but I was already at my limit.

    First off you need to learn what a mudcat is 2nd never use your metal boat as a backboard for cutting bait 3rd don't leave your bait knife flop around the bottom of your boat while you're wearing flip flops i will be using your videos to show my grandkids what not to do you need to learn basic skills before doing videos on the outdoors

      No I don’t sell them. I take friends with me. Some guys I swap fish. Crappie/ 🦌 for catfish etc. I eat fish a couple times a week. Very soon I’ll be slowing down. Rain stops and the heat waves start.

      Trading wild game must be a thing huh?Pretty sure you do not understand bartering either, because trading game meat for other game meats is bartering and is illegal. You can word it however you want, you cannot trade deer meat legally, or any wild game legally. You can not do anything your saying legally. Now that you basically admitted to us on here that you barter frequently with wild game I'm sure the game warden would like to know of your bartering with wild game. Wanna keep your hunting and fishing privileges? We can't have people like you disgracing what it means to be a hunter, also your a disgrace to the fishing community. You cannot identify channel catfish correctly, you are literally a tool that has no clue what he is doing but just bumping his gums. Breaking laws and having zero common sense is your trait for sure

    The first cat DEFINITELY wasn’t a mud cat. Looked more like a channel cat, maybe a blue. Couldn’t get a good look at it, but that fish wasn’t a mud cat.
