Addition, ship type is also plays to full clear a stage. Because each type has different move pattern. For example: clear stage within 2 phase. Depending on map layout, u will need either armor, cruise or aux type because they got wider move pattern.

If it's asking you to pay quartz, I suspect that it's actually telling you that you've reached max storage. Enhance some gear items or implant some of your unit and see if that changes anything.

In Options-Game there is a button (Damage/Buff) that would allow you to see the damage done
In PVP; I believe only 10% of your base stats are used regardless of tier or lvl hence why those lvl 5ms were doing dmg on your lvl 40’s
I choose abraham ship because of its movable range. It's not all about how your ship can do extra damage. It's all about movable range.
Maybe im odd one because i pick Abraham and maining Titan + Hound + Rhino + Tactical transporter...
