Google seriously needs someone from marketing to do their brand strategy, you need a spreadsheet to understand what each products mean. It's sounds very geeky, but someone needs to simplify it so that their customers can easily understand it..
Amazing how he managed to not answer sucessfully any of the good questions he was asked. -Multimodality is not an ambiguous choice. It is supposed to enhance skills of the model in its different modalities. It is a superior form over GPT tailoring a prompt for DALLE to interpret, as it directly understands your prompt to the image output with the inherent knowledge of the LLM. It makes better connections between language and image, as it has a deeper knowledge of the topic described in the prompt, and there are no "translation barriers" sort to say. -Chain of thought and ToT are not examples where the model is learning reasoning. None of that. He made that up on the spot. It is actually a prompting strategy and the model does not have any feedback learning, it just enhances the input. Clearly shows how some people in Google have no clue what they're doing.
And @HuPatibulo doing who knows what of his life knows better than a veteran in this industry? Give me a break Multimodality is completely an anbiguous choice for a product, GPT-4 isn't truly multimodal and even gemini pro that was trained to be multimodal from the ground up doesn't use it's actual multimodal capabilities on the gemini website, why? One of the reasons is that it's a huge compute trade off both on training and inference. This things looks simple because of the dunning kruger effect, but you aren't an expert, the people liking your comments aren't experts, I'm not an expert, they are playing 4D chess while you and I are bistandard, so show a bit of humility my guy.
This is a masterclass in consultant speak. He used so many word to convey so little meaning. How many times was he asked a variation for “what is this for?”
I don't understand how you can make such amazing technology sound so incredibly boring... This guy definitely knows what he is talking about, but as a monotone and dry speaker, he is not the most inspirational
A touchdown in the second inning is really crossing modalities 🏈 ⚾️

Don't let McKenzie CEO run tech company

10:20 Why fly at all? Put on Vision Pro 3 and tell SORA which model world to go to and how natural the constraints should be
jsut a name change. CEO was stupid to market the name BARD .--whatever that mean.
A drunken Irish poet?
Wow! Google needs someone who is better at making the case for this great technology. This dude was horrible.
This is not encouraging. Second inning, indeed. Not even playing the right game.
Did not age well. Cultural marxist.
still won't save em from my farts
Gemini is unnecessarily more woke than Bard.
Sundar is part of the problem at google. Any other job and he would have long been fired for all the failures he oversaw
not in Google
Exactly, untill they fire Sundar , Google will drift .
@@marcinros2390 I own Google 🔏
Why yes, a touchdown…in the second inning
That was hilarious. And then the reporter called him out on the gaffe and he didn’t even pick up on that.
