      yeah, like 1 move in and you already know lol, especially when you're playing white with the clock on you're right, right-handed amateurs will probably try to use both hands while playing black, 1 for the pieces and 1 for the clock, which is not legal and if is just a casual match, you should still keep the good habit of using only 1 hand

    Great video! If you do something like this again I would recommend doing smth like coffee chess where they have a digital board on the screen with eval bars showing who’s winning. Thanks for the great chess :)

      Absolutely, I started in february and playing only on line. When I started was 250 lol then after 1000 games and a couple of basic gambits and opening I'm about a 1000. I have just figured out thst to reach 1200 I really need to focus more and more on theory and I guess it is like that always. Until 800 I was playing the fried liver and obv right know doesnt work, so I'm playing Vienna with white. This game is so much deep

      @@DopeTracksOnly The black rook on C3 has the white king in check, but white moves a pawn instead of getting out of check. When you're in check, the only legal moves are those which get you out of check, so white should have moved his king.

    28:42 this is the perfect angle for recording these over the table games. Also, if it's a serious game like the on you lost, I actually wanna see the whole 6 minutes, no jump cuts. PS you can split these into 2 or even 3 parts.

      Thanks for all the suggestions, they are noted for next time :) The thing with the highest angle is that its a touch less personal...you’re a viewer not up close. And yes, I was debating whether to leave it for 6 minutes or cut it... but yeah thanks for the feedback, it means a lot. I also thought (from popular suggestions) to to put a little 2D chess board in the corner

    I love this game way back in grade school. I kinda leave this game when I was highschool coz it's difficult to find anyone to play with you anywhere. I'm so thankful that I accidentally watched chessnerd playing chess online. I tried it and can now play chess again anytime anywhere.

      My Elo in OTB was peaked at 2075 when I played my last tournament. Online I’m 2200 on a good day :)

    Actually you won all the games. In the last game when your opponent moved while he was in check, and you told him to do something else on your time, you just wanted to give away $100.

      Yeah I was super nervous at that moment, FIDE rules are I just have added myself +1 minute on the first illegal move made, which I didn’t and this costed me 5 vital seconds explaining to him the illegal move, costing me the game.
