Akhilandeshwari - Dvijavanti - Muthusvami Dikshitar | Vishruthi Girish | Navaratri Navakriti

On the second day of Navaratri, I present the meditative kriti "Akhilandeshvari" of Muthusvami Dikshitar in raga Dvijavanti (or Jujavanti). This composition venerates Goddess Akhilandeshwari of Thiruvanaikka, Tamil Nadu. In this kriti, Dikshitar extolls Her as an expert in traditions of the Vedas and as an embodiment of all arts who is adored by Sarasvati Herself.

You mentioned name of Ragam of the krithi, Name of composer of krithi and also your name in your videos titles, but, you not mentioned name of Thalam. Why ? Mentioning of Thalam is not important ? or Thalam itself is not important ? You didn't mentioned name of thalam in any of your videos, so sad. As per my knowledge, "sruthi matha - Laya pitha" and Ragam - Thalam are two eyes of Music. It is up to you. Anyhow you sang very nice.
