I love Sandra and have no problem with how she played...I have to say though I really felt Parvati played the better game. I agree with Parvati in that i dont think Candice or Amanda wanted to see her win again and people didnt like her loyalty to Russell. All of them worked hard but I felt like Parvati had to work even harder to get to the end and I wish it would have been rewarded.
I agree with you that Parvati had an awesome strategic and physical game, but the problem is, if her game was so great, why did she take Sandra instead of Jerri to FTC? Sandra had a clear "I tried to get out Russell" argument for the heroes. But maybe this was only clear in hindsight.
If I was on the Jury I would have voted Parvati to win, basically because her game play was so much better to Sandras, winning all those immunities, being on the bottom since day 1 and still getting to day 39 and lets not forget her using both idols to protect the villains, the only problem was to me that when the villains were saved, 5 heroes went to the jury and all voted together and voted Sandra just because Sandra won them over and showed herself to be the closest thing to a hero in final 3
coolwahl despite what Jeff and the editing will try to spin in modern survivor, the game always has been and always be a SOCIAL game. The person who wins always deserves to be the winner, becuase the point is to get to the end and be able to have people like you enough to vote for you, not to make flashy moves
@@iLLBiLLsRoastBeats that's a horrible path for survivor to go down. All winners aren't made equal. If enough people see you just have to be the least hated to win and the jury with always be salty instead of voting for who had the best game, survivor is doomed.
Absolutely. Not only her game changing move with the 2 idols, but she also won some key immunities when Rupert and Colby were fighting for their Survivor lives. She simply outclutched and outlasted them. Very deserving.
And yet the jury rewarded Sandra because they- the people whose votes mattered liked and respected her more because of her social game. I'll give credit to Parvati for making the smart and obvious move at the merge, but can you tell me what she did outside of that besides win immunity challenges? Russell was the one running the show and had Parvati under his thumb throughout most of the game. Parvati couldn't save her ally in Danielle or get rid of Sandra who she knew to be the biggest threat. Parvati had poor relationships with the Heroes and gave up immediately on trying to form positive ones. Because the Heroes were cold to her early she decided not to interact with them. Not a smart thing to do in a social game. Because of this Parvati could never gather the numbers to make the moves she wanted to. The only people Parvati appeared to get along with in the game was Danielle, Russell, Sandra and Coach to a degree. Sandra was more involved socially and was craft enough to survive each vote. She earned the jury's votes and thus is the deserving two time winner.
parvati had the best physical game, russell had the best strategic game n sandra had the best social game. the ties end when jury management is in to mind n sandra had better jury management. i wanted parvati to win so badly, but when someone is so conniving (russell) it holds higher standards to accomplish n since she was aligned with that person, she lost.
Even though Russell's kind of crap. What awesome play. Khavari, couldn't get past the flirting us and full of herself.. Even more than Russell. Sandra kind of common but very smart. So there you go. I would have gone with Russell... Even if I didn't want to because of feelings.. I'll leave that to the left. LOL
and, if Parvati was gonna win, she would have got the jury votes. Sandra knew that Jerri was her biggest competitor, not Parvati. Parvati was seen as a coattail rider of Russell (from the perspective of the jurors) therefore it was vital to keep Parvati in the final 3. Therefore, Sandra was happy to let Jerri go at the final 4.
I’m sorry, she is thee best survivor contestant/winner ever!!! People still don’t grasp she was really in control of “fan favorite” Russell. Really his game was hers and she played a better overall game. I’m glad she at least got a survivor win cause she really deserved this one
No. It would've been bad for Parv's legacy. Game changers favored lesser players, with smaller targets. Hopefully she'll be on the All Winners Season 40 if that's really happening 🤞
An argument Russell could have, and should have made at Final Tribal is that Parvati wouldn't even be there if he hadn't made a risky idol play on her behalf. It still wouldn't have won him the game, but he may have gained a vote or 2.
uh you just spelled out Sandra's strategy completely. She WANTED people to underestimate her. That was why it was so easy for her to get to the end. She made sure that there's always targets ahead of her so she can survive another vote. That is a legitimate strategy and it got her two wins. and it also shows that she is amazingly crazy good at final tribal council when she convinced people to vote for her despite being weak.
every single day, i STILL wake up pissed off and disappointed that Parvati didn't win Heroes vs. Villians. she knows she won, i know she won, even Russel conceded that she won at the reunion. i love the game. Parvati is the queen of the game. she earned it.
Parvati was supposed to be a hero but, all the other players were worried about the micronesia crew (Parvati, James, Amanda, and Cirie,) all on the same tribe so they swiched her and Candace.
Sandra is much more popular among hero juries, because only she was really against Russel. Russel and Parvati didn't notice it until end, so they brought Sandra instead of Jerri and Daniel in final. it was totally Russel and Parvati's fault. so you overestimated Russel and Parvati. and, Sandra was really good. because she made Russel and Parvati be ignorance about it until end. this means, Sandra outwitted and outfoxed Parvati and Russel.
Actually no. Parvati thought Sandra was a big jury threat and wanted to take her out, however Russell had won the Final Immunity Challenge and Jerri was apparently set on voting out Parvati, and for Russell it was between Parvati and Jerri. Parvati had no other choice than to vote with Russell, if she didn't want to end up going home
This comment is invalid. Russell controlled the entire game and Sandra had no power. So what if she played quietly? She didn't do much. She won because of bitter Heroes. Russell should've won. Go play Russell's game and be sitting next to someone who played Sandra's game. Then lose. You'll understand why Sandra is overrated, underestimated, and worthless. Russell is the greatest Survivor player ever.
@@commentingperson9554 Did you even watch the Season? She did a lot of things. Just because you saw Russell the most doesn't mean he was the only one doing things. Also, I believe whoever wins that season deserves to win that season. It's Russell's fault he didn't get any votes. He played the way he did.
Parvati's relationship with her Survivor allies was like typical popular schoolgirls story. First she was best friends with Candice on secondary school. Then her family moved away and Parvati went to another school where she met Amanda, who became her new BFF. After graduating both Amanda & Parvati went to same senior high school where Candice was also but this time Parvati met her new BFF, Danielle, and so she forgot all about her previous best friends, Amanda & Candice.
Sandra deserves her win especially with the game she played. But I'd say Parvati deserved it more before she already had a huge target on her since Day 1. And people keep voting her every Tribal council. Russell was never deserving of the win. Yes, he played a great strategic game but he does not understand the importance of jury management which is a huge part of the game. He was playing to reach the Final Tribal Council but not to win. Had Parvati successfully brought Courtney instead of Sandra in the merge, she would definitely would have won. And honestly, they should have kept Colby instead of any of the villains.
Survivor is a social game. In every single season, the person who wins the game is the person who deserved to win. It’s not about making flashy, sexy moves despite what Probst and the editing try to shove down your throat. It’s about navigating the politics and the strategy and making it to the end while actually being likeable and having the jury be able to sleep at night being comfortable they made the right decision
@Eikkanen actually according to a report a long time prior to the season, Parvati and Amanda are not even on speaking terms, and based on her interview, i think it was on CW ow EW or whatever, it looks like it was Parvati causing the rift
@TotalDramaIslandKid im not disagreeing with you.. but what really determines a good player? its an everchanging game and you have to compensate for the social aspect as well as the strategic... i think they both did that well.. but if sandra could do it with her humility and get the jury votes, which is what is required in THE GAME then she played THE GAME better and deserves to win. i love parv just as much though!
A few episodes before the jury started forming (coaches elimination) I told myself that there was no way Candice nor Parvati were going to win. This was all of course cuz I thought there was no way in the world either of them was making it to the final three. I think Parvati didn't win cuz she got immunity a lot, while Sandra never got it. Mainly cuz the jury was bitter that they tried to get Parvati out earlier, but it didn't work cuz Russel saved her. Do I agree with the jury hell no? Parvati was targeted by basically everyone but Danielle and Rusell. Rusell even targeted her eventually.
I know it. but Russell underestimated Sandra even Parvati insisted that. Because finally Sandra controlled Russel more than Parvati. so Sandra succeed to make Russell underestimate Sandra, then Parvati failed to persuade him.
@CreepyFinnishGuy But Parvati forgot one very important element about her previous best friends: they found a new and far more receptive crowd to hang out with while she took up with the resident horndog. Ultimately, whatever squabbles they may have had with each other were put aside for a common purpose: to strike down the very creature who, regardless of whose fault it was, struck them down.
I think in Jerri-Parvati-Russell Jerri wins. I think in Jerri-Sandra-Russell Sandra wins. The only way Jerri wins over Sandra is if Parvati was lying about voting Sandra over Jerri and Russell, if she isnt then Jerri has no shot in that as Jerri absolutely would need Parvati and Danielle's votes to beat Sandra, she only otherwise gets Coach (lock), Colby (probably), J.T (maybe), and an outside shot of Amanda. I think in Jerri beats Parvati with the votes of Coach (voted for Parv over Sandra but not over Jerri IMO), Sandra (said post show she votes Jerri over Parvati since she thinks she played a better game), Candice (bitter), Amanda (bitter), Colby, and J.T with Parvati getting Rupert (respected Parvati's game, disliked Jerri), Courtney, and Danielle.
@MrSaxofreak Seriously? Read "The Fall of Russell Hantz Part 2" on The Funny 115 2.0 (click on the picture of Sandra wearing the tiara). It explains perfectly why she won.
Parvati was one of the coolest and worst survivors. The queen of Womanhood, flirting manipulating to the full extent Etc. Really really did great for women, what men think of women sometimes LOL. Happy woman's month. LOL
She played one particular section of Survivor worse than even the Heroes did: keeping an idol hidden from him. Made him furious. Set off even more stupid shit. And she couldn't avoid being identified with Russell as the snake with two heads (while Natalie completely averted that exact same identification).
Valupatitta Yes technically Sandra won but in the eyes of the public the true winner of this season is Parvati. A title is only as good as what people recognize it for. Sandras two titles are worth less than what you would find at the bottom of the sewers.
Sandra might've won the money, but the true Sole Survivor was Russell. Idc if Sandra wanted people to underestimate her. That's not an impressive strategy. An impressive strategy is controlling a game. Not sitting bad, being a jerk, being lazy around camp, and not having power. Sandra is overrated.
Surprised to be a villain? This is funny. She was a villain, villain to men. She used it abused it knew it. Why not.. but one of the reasons I actually dislike her. I like her and dislike her. Mostly favoring disliking her type... What's a lot of men I'm guessing would agree.
i can't really get her logic that she should have won just because she lasted cumulative 114 days... with her poor logic it's definitely right that she shouldn't win this season... sorry for the fans, though
Exactly, She has no physical strength at all. There are too much "lucky" involved. I don't like her either. She has some strategies in her mind, but it's just only like one or two days move. It can not compare with Parvati and Russell did. Shame on those bitter juries...There all said "loyalty". How come to play this game with fully loyalty? They all lied one another to some degree. I know why people hate Russell because he is a villain. Hey, look at this season's title.
What's wrong with making moves that are only effective for one or two days? If anything, it goes to show that she plays in the moment which is how you should play. An alliance or strategy you had at the beginning might not be smart for the end game so you're required to change things up from time to time. And secondly, bitter jury? As I've stated about this game to others, you can make all the strategic moves and win all the challenges, but the social aspect is the most important. He betrayed JT, Candice, Danielle and Jerri, he made a mockery of Coach (found this out in Coach's Survivor Oz interview) and he made an unnecessary personal non-game related comment towards Rupert. Russell failed to handle the jury properly which contributed to both of his losses. Therefore, zero votes is what he deserved.
@@musicaleclecto You can say "social aspect" all you want, but Sandra and Parvati weren't social either. Russell betrayed people. So? Would you rather vote someone who controlled an entire game or a brick that didn't talk the whole time JUST because it didn't betray people. Exactly. Russell is the best. Nothing more, nothing less.

Parvati is done. Amanda is done. Russell is done. I doubt they will have another all-stars.
2020 doesn't agree.
ROFL
not at all
Exactly, She has no physical strength at all.
@@commentingperson9554 Sandra wasn't social? You don't win two games of survivor without being social.
PArvati was the best female player. But doesnt have a scratch on Russel
70% of her game must thanks to russel coz save her...
I’m glad parvati didn’t win
