See there are two types of records. One is gramophone records which requires a gramophone player. The one which I am showing is LP records. LP record players are available online on Amazon. Check the quality of these records. If they are in good shape without scratch then it will work for sure.

I had started to buy record on the year 1977. That time I was student of only Class VII(Seven). Till date those all collections are with me. I was born on 1964 and it's 2024. That time I was Staying in Scott Lane, Sealdha, Central Calcutta :- 700009. Just opposite Bangabasi College. I had also completed my Graduation from this collage. This College was 180 Degree opposite of my (on that time's) residence. Those days 1 LP(Long Play) Stereo phonics Recod was Rs. 45/- only, later it would be increased up to Rs. 48/-. It was big size record. HMV Company categories Stereo phonics Record as a "Supreme". Means Supreme Qulity's Record. This "Supreme" word was also printed back side of record cover. Which Play Speed was 33-1/3 RPM(Rotation Per Minute). Another one "Regular" category we used to get that was also LP Record(Long Play) big size Record, but it was Mono Phonics Record, Play Speed was 45 RPM. So it was only Rs. 35/- Apart from these 2 categories 3rd category was EP(Extended Play) Record. Cost Price was Rs.16/-. Some time this EP Record was manufactured by Record company as a Stereo phonics Record. That time play speed of such kind of Stereo phonics EP Record was 33-1/3 RPM. On that time, cost of 1 Stereo phonics EP Record was Rs. 20/- Only. According to Medical Science, Sound which come out from Record that's natural sound as like as sound of Nature it's never damage our brain. Your brain will not felt tired. Even if you listen record 12 hours continues.... But sounds of Cassette, CD, DVD, Pen drive, Mobile Phone are not natural sound. It's Digital Sound. Human brain doesn't accept this sound more time. Max to max 3 hours. This information had given me by 1 Bengali(British Citizen) Doctor. Dr. P.K. Jha. He never listen any music on Cassette, CD, DVD, Pen drive, Mobile Phone. According to this renowned Doctor this digital sound is biggest enemy of Human Brain. Anyway, these all are my old days memories which I have shared over here with all of you before my passing away from this earth..... What you are saying is correct. People in general call it Gramophone records these LP records. I used to play them in Radiogram earlier and now on the new turntable player.
Gramophone is old mechanical player in 1900to 1950, without electricity, then record player comes with electric motor and amplifier, Gramophone records are of black ⚫️ stone, lp records are plastic vinyl, I have HMV Gramophone and many records too..
