@@SeadooRefurb Hey, quick question, I live in the Windsor area just south of you.. 3.5h away. If I wanted to do a complete rebuild of my engine, where would you recommend ordering parts from?
@@MrDraftkid I have many places for different items. What are you looking for ? Ebay is usually my first go to place. Then SBT for bits and pieces. There is a place in Oshawa called GP bikes and they have lots of parts ..gaskets ..pistons etc..
@@SeadooRefurb My plan is to do the crank and pistons, and also rebuild the jet drive.. The engine runs and has good compression (just over 150 psi on each cylinder) but is just over 300 hours so I'm sure the bearings are getting tired, it is a 2000 GTX RFI 787. It was purchased from my aunt and uncle from the cottage and has always been dealer-maintained.. probably just basic maintenance to keep it running for the grandchildren (it's been driven rough most of the time I'm sure). I've read here and there on forms doing a rebuild around this many hours should prevent anything catastrophic from happening and costing more. I'm guessing there may be more items I should consider replacing.
Great find for $1100, I could see this selling for $2500 at least near the beginning of the season. Those end of season deals are great if your willing to wait to use it next season in Ontario.
I have a 2003 Seadoo RX DI. Had the engine rebuilt and installed. But for some reason when you put the key on the post I don't get any beeps or anything at all. Would you might know what would be the reason it doesn't? It was fine before the rebuild. I appreciate any feedback if possible.
Amazing videos. So helpful! Thank you!
another great video,
the Rx Di looks great from the outside. looking forward to the video of rebuilding the engine. keep up the good work 💪🏼
Man, these vids are great. keep them flowing
Machines are hit an miss. You don't see deals like this come along too often.
@@SeadooRefurb For sure, excited for your next video. Thanks again for sharing.

First thing is to check fuses and check powers and grounds.
Where do you get new cases?
