I actually kinda like it when a band plays with their sound a bit. It's good for musicians to stretch out a bit. I actually like synths and keys in metal. It fills out the sound .
lol, the opening 'radio filter' bit... sounds like old school AM reception around McKee Bridge or Copper... don't ask. RE the band/music : I am THRILLED that UTA is growing/evolving their musical style. After her recent experience with Ayreon, I can see UTA coming out with some keys-centric tunes, and they will kick ass (or any other body part they aim at). I completely expect Scott to pick up a viola at their next concert tour and rip out some Jean-Luc Ponty-esque leads while keeping time on the kicks. NO PRESSURE SCOTT !!! Lol. Also, I am excited to hear Brit bringing out the Brittney Chior on more than just Legacy. Her harmony structures a very rich, and just like here, it's like she blends two or three separate choral groups, alternating lines that overlap... makes for a nice interplay and melodic intersection. Joyce Eilers (my grade school chorale teacher) would be proud of the work she puts in.
I love this comment and I agree I love their growth in style aswell. And im happy Brittney is getting the love she deserves getting invited to sing with Ayreon. She's a world wide talent and I hope one day UTA plays stadiums.
Heck yeah, my man! 🤘😎👍
