  • Journalist and author, Melinda Ferguson, says while she has been touched by the love and support received, she feels misunderstood by her critics. This comes after the release of her controversial book, "When Love Kills: the tragic tale of AKA and Anele".
The story is told through Ferguson's eyes and takes readers on the journeys of the lives and times of Anele Tembe and Kiernan, AKA, Forbes. Ferguson believes there were alleged previous occurrences that pointed to Anele Tembe's death not being an accident, after her fall from the tenth floor of a hotel in Cape Town, three years ago.
To find out more about the book, Melinda Ferguson joins us virtually. We have also reached out to Tony Forbes, AKA's father, without any success as well as to Moses Tembe's legal representative who confirmed that he was also not available at this time.

South Africans are very quick to run with speculations & unfortunately draw conclusions without much details based on whoever reports first... Reality is a young girl tragically lost a life, AKA brutally lost his life, and even more sad Tibz as a third person. Ppl's emotions are gon be u toyed around based on pure speculations, unnecessary so...

Why is this opportunist being given so much air time by the media to defend herself for behaving like a vulture around the dead? And no, she does not represent feminism. The goal of writing this book is to make money. So tired by all these pretenders.

A GREATVPRETENDER indeed this Melinda lasy...she is pathetic actually..telling a story she has no truth about apart from what Mr Tembe told her..definitely didnt put AKA's side into consideration.
