Good times when devs could make a game good enough for playing the way you wanted, using console controls, a wheel or even a keyboard (my case), and yes, it is possible to play well using the keyboard. If the game offer that option, why not using it? Not everyone got the money for a wheel (remember there're other countries with different economies in the world, people). I miss games like this, everyone could have fun.
@@tomer073 Some people prefer dirt rally, I'm not one of them. There has not been a Dirt game that followed the path of the original since Dirt 3. Also if you go by numbers, most people prefer the original style of Dirt games considering Dirt 1,2 and 3 sold more than 5 times more copies in their first week than either of the Dirt Rally games in the their first week and 500,000+ more copies overall. You can even combine the number of copies sold for both of the rally games and they still did not sell more than just 1 of of any of the first 3 Dirt games alone.
Respect, dude. I used to play Colin McRae Rally series ages ago and I was driving like crazy in those. I've even bought Logitech G25 to play racing games, but I never actually played Dirt series tho. Just tried that one on PlayStation 3 (sadly with gamepad as I sold my wheel three years ago) and I suck :D I think will stick with lower difficulty levels, such challenge on Pro doesn't give me fun anymore :| I see that you are seriously into variety of racing games. This game was absolutely phenomenal!! I was blown away by this. It looked and played fantastic! Looking at it now, I find it much more appealing and visually consistent than both dirt 4 and 5. What a mess those games where. Terrible graphics compared to the first 3 DiRT games.. DiRT 1,2 and 3 was an outstanding trilogy 👌

Owned every codemasters dirt and a little vrally and dirt 1 is one of my favorites. However, playing it now as a dirt rally 2 vet. Its very easy as the cars are very forgiving but speed sense more than makes up for it.

The game was good but the physics was wonky. They really improved it with Dirt 2 and Dirt 3. Also It got really repetitive later on.
