Hi there, also, where can I report a mexican citizen person who made fraud to work in the US with a tourist visa and not with a work visa, where he lied to the US Embassy from Mexico? I tried to call the ICE but didn't answer.
Can you show the law that prohibits it? As the United States does not currently offer a dedicated digital nomad visa category, and undertaking paid employment is prohibited as a visitor under US immigration laws. Means paid employment, but visitor is not paid employee or paid by USA. So while on vacation, I should be still able to manage my company overseas. Or ypu Americans just close your company and send people home when you go to vacation?
Hi, like we explained in the video, this is a grey area in the law. This means that an immigration official in the future could deny future applications or take away your visitor visa based on remote work within the U.S. If you are entering on a tourist visa, we advise that you do not work while in the U.S.
The risk would be that you will be asked about prior work in the U.S. when applying for a different kind of visa in the future. It is best not to work to avoid any risk of a future visa denial.
Hi there, I have a question here, I'm working with an american company as a contractor and they offer me a sponsorship visa to work now as full-time employeer. My question is, Is this allow that the american company offers a work visa for a contractor or it has to be an employee to can provide a work visa?

If we are from india and we have software job in india . In our company we have options to work from any country for 2 months . My brother is in Florida orlando. I want to visit my brother and roam around and see the city and also work for my indian company remotely. What visa i have to apply ?
I would like to ask as mine is study. My university offers online units and I am hoping to get online units by the time I visit the United States. I wish to go there by December 15 and also visit Canada by January and go back to US by February for my birthday celebration and go home to the PH. In this duration of time, I want to also complete my modules while having a tour. Is that allowed? Thank you, I hope you’ll have the time to read and answer to this message.
Hi. I have a question. My employer is a US company and i live in a third world country doing remote job for them. They wanted me to come for a few days to have office tours and probably work there for a day or two. Which visa should I apply for this situation? Thank you
Hi! If you are coming to the U.S. to tour the offices, you can come on a B-1 visa. However, you should not do any work while you are here. You can explain this limitation to your employer.
@@HawksVillafrancaLaw Thank you for this. If in case, they want to have me work there for some time. What do they need to do? Is there any docs that they need to submit?
She clearly said you cannot. You are unlikely to be discovered, but If you are found to be working, you may be expelled and barred from re-entry. It is an indefensible position as she cannot quote any provision in the law that allows a foreign national to work inside the US on a tourist visa.
I am a Permanent Resident of Canada and have F1 visa in USA. My school is near Canada USA border. Is it legitimate I come back to Canada every weekend to work/ earn during that time in canada and then go back to US on the week days?

@@HawksVillafrancaLawrealistically, how could the US government find out such violations? By what means?
Thanks
Thank you for this information.
Hi
Hi, what are the chances or odds of US immigration finding out if you work remotely inside of your US citizen cousin's home?
The risk would be that you will be asked about prior work in the U.S. when applying for a different kind of visa in the future. It is best not to work to avoid any risk of a future visa denial.

Unfortunately, there aren't good options for you in this situation.
What about on an ESTA for a few weeks?
Hi - the same applies for ESTA

Then how youtubers are vlogging and what kind of visa they have?
There are any number of visas available, depending on your background. Many influencers get O visas, as people of high achievement in their fields.

Does this hold true if you were hired in Mexico to work online for a company based in the United States?
You can work in Mexico for that company but cannot do any work when physically inside the United States (unless you have a proper work visa).
Can I work remotely if it's a company not based in the US? Like working while I'm on holiday?

Unfortunately, it is better not to work at all. While this is a grey area of the law, it is risky to work while visiting.

Hi, if you are not working within the U.S. (remotely or otherwise), you are not in violation of your F1 status.
How will I come in and start working
