  • Paul personifies sin as an emperor who conscripts us into his army and drills us in unbelief and lust to bind us in his service. Then Paul shows how we may be ‘brought out’ of our bondage to walk with the Lord God.
01:59 How can we account for evil in the world
05:27 Sin seeks to bring you into bondage
    06:01 What is sin
10:43 Before conversion we stand with Satan
13:39 Modern society doesn't know of the spiritual war taking place
16:15 Being in bondage to Satan
21:47 If unconverted Satan conforms you
    22:44 The instinct for God
24:52 The doctrine that delivers you
29:51 We cannot see we're in bondage until God works in us
'Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof.' (Romans chapter 6 verse 12)

I initially came here because of my love of the old faithful servant Spurgeon.
Since then I have listened to many sermons and teachings of Masters.
I am so very very grateful I have found this gifted preacher.
I love the strong and true messages....and have grown to love Peter Masters, his gentleness love and compassion is shining through in all his preaching.
He is like a beloved grandfather I never had!
Thank you for your input and kindness.
Thank you Lord Jesus for the valuable gift of the internet and pointing me to good men of God.
    Xxx

......typing error. Not "the teaching of Masters" - but "the teaching of Dr. Masters"

You say what I think, what I believe re this wonderful preacher of the gospel of Jesus Christ, our Lord. I came across him years ago upon my having soon come across the gifted Prince of Preachers, Chas. Spurgeon, shortly after my conversion to Christ at 22 years old...58 years ago. I thought that Dr. Masters was/is similar to the other gifted man of God, Martyn Lloyd-Jones; then discovered via a couple sermons of Masters that he knew MLJ and they were friends. Master's preaching & services remind me too of the way MLJ conducted his. There is no entertainment, no jokes and clapping, and so much of what we have here, in U.S. At 80, I am homebound, alone, very much ailing but God gave me this pc and I hear the wonderful things as this. Thanks for excellent comment.

Thank you for this wonderful site; odd that I have never heard the cluster of decent Reformed men as R. C. Sproul, Albert N. Martin, the fine U.K. preachers (here in U.S. a lot) as Sinclair Ferguson, Eric Alexander, and such mention this gifted preacher. It may be(?) that he chooses to stay in his church, appears to be serious as his friend of years past, MLJ.
In America, worshipping is more rare, we get entertainment and irreverence.
