New @AlkotaCS hot water pressure washer for sanitizing and cleaning the trash cans and garbage truck that we use for our weekly trash pickup business. Getting the hang of it on equipment around the house before our next trash pickup. alkota.com/copper-creek-cuts/
@coppercreekcuts I use our diesel powered hot water power washer at my job to clean our pickups dump trucks street sweeper (same unit as your trash truck) loaders and mowers all the time so efficient and satisfying
I realize you dont have the infrastructure to go out and physically clean cans for customers at their house but perhaps what you can do is offer a "can cleaning service" every 6 months in which you go out and swap current customer bins for "clean" bins you have on hand. This way you dont have to stop at each house to clean 1 or 2 bins. You just pick up their bins and swap them out for "new/clean" bins. Then you can bring all the bins back and wash them at your house and have them ready for either new customers or for the next time your customers want a bin cleaned. It would be a great value added service that costs you minimally.
Just wondering since it looks like you keep the garbage truck close to your home. Do you have any problems with insects from the truck infesting your home. Also the leachate odors. The smell of the wash water must be pretty strong. How do you handle that.
Ahh, back to oddly satisfying pressure washing again? Are we back to 2017? Before you know it, Brad would drive the Ventrac into the truck and we will come full circle.
😂 Low effort intro to a new product. I filmed a ton when they dropped it off (all the technical question asking) but wanted to get some video of it out actually working to try and get feedback/questions while I edit the other video.
be carefull on the payments they can catch up fast.. i would start buying used stuff .. man you spent a ton of money on new stuff ,, i have not a clue how you are making money with all the new stuff.. if you can do a video on what stuff cost that would be awsome.. keep up the great videos. i have been in business for 25 years
@ that would be absolutely amazing! Also, I know the manager at the trash dump basically said no recording, but have ya thought of maybe sneaking a quick clip of you dumping the garbage out of the truck sometime?
I was thinking the same, but I thought of two things: 1. He knows what he's doing (kinda sometimes), and I should STFU and enjoy the videos 2. There's no HOA in his neighborhood, so "F**k 'em if they can't take a joke." More often than not, I usually lean toward #1. 😆😂😂
Can you do a video On cleaning the garbage truck The outside. And where you put the trash. And maybe if there's time clean the inside Of the truck for your wife.
I don't think this was well that out, you'd be better off with some sort of sanitizing solution. You need to get bacteria hot and for long enough in order to kill it
I'm not sure what research you are referencing, but 200+ degree water should kill the bacteria just fine! :D Sanitizer wouldn't hurt, but the hot water is for cutting the grease/fats/oils, not just killing bacteria. The heat doubling as a sanitizer is a bonus, not the reason for the hot water washer.
A sponsored(?) video with no words from a guy who is always vocally open and honest about products he uses (both positives and negatives) is something I would take as a warning sign lol.
I would have thought someone making a video with a ringing endorsement or scathing indictment after using a product 30 minutes would be the bigger warning sign 😂 If I don't know anything about a product (good/bad/indifferent) there isn't much else I can do but show it working and let you make your own calls until I know enough to offer my own input.
@@CopperCreekCuts You very much could have held off on making a video on a sponsored product until you had a better opinion on it. Making a paid promotional video and saying, in essence, "well, I only used it for 30 minutes, I don't want to say anything about it." is having your cake and eating it too. That doesn't sit right with me and I don't think it would be too much of a stretch to assume that if someone, who is being paid by a company to make a video about their product, says nothing about the product in said video, then it could very well be a "if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all" scenario.
@@danh6746 No one has, is, or will be paying me for making videos on this pressure washer. Maybe we can just leave it at 'I'm running a TH-cam channel differently than you would' and agree to disagree 😁👍
Naw, i have been using a hot water alkota unit for a few years now, and it's great. I have had no real issues out of it other than basic general maintenance. I dont have the need for hot water often, but it's great when I do. Mine doesn't have the swivel casters makes it hard to move but other than that it's great.

will you ever clean the trash cans when your out for a service fee?
@@doodlemoogles9325 No. I don't have the infrastructure to clean cans on the trash truck.

I really appreciate how you've got all the equipment to nest together so nicely. It's even more satisfying than the cleaning LOL
Necessity of not having any space! :D
The ASMR I didn't know I needed. Thanks a bunch Brad.
Thanks for watching and commenting!
Bad ass man hoping to get one someday
I'm hoping it makes cleaning the truck easier and safer!
Oh that reminds me, it's pressure washing season! Yay!
The original pressure washing legend himself!😂👍
I can clearly see that our garages are related to each other and also their cousin, the 15 sliding puzzle.
Seeing the green Bobcat brought back memoroes when I stumbled across your channel. Love your videos Brad! Good job brother
Great video of great equipment!
Quick couplers for all your water hose connections and a water powered water hose reel. You will wonder how you lived without them.
Cue Brad giving us ASMR pressure washing his equipment this is awesome
You said in a video you clean out the trash truck evtimtime you use it. Do you have a video of that. Im interested in what that process looks like.
Excellent suggestion! I have not yet but I will now that I have this machine!

Wow! They look like new! Will you make a garbage truck cleaning video with that?
That is the plan, but not sure when so wanted to get this out first!
Looking good Brad! That 4405XD4 is getting the job done right. Happy cleaning! #alkotaclean
I found labels and stickers on those mowers I completely forgot were even there! 😅
Unintentional ASMR? Or perhaps it was intentional? Very satisfying and relaxing to watch. 👍
Just a quick easy video for me to put together to show the new piece of equipment. More in-depth video coming soon on it.
@@CopperCreekCuts I shall look forward to that!

Wish one of those was in my budget

I go over the finances of the trash company every time there is a video on it. Will have a new one out tomorrow.
Any plans to do a power washing vid of the trash truck? 👀😅
Yes, probably a 'how I clean the trash truck' video showing the whole process.
@ that would be absolutely amazing! Also, I know the manager at the trash dump basically said no recording, but have ya thought of maybe sneaking a quick clip of you dumping the garbage out of the truck sometime?
He watches the channel (or his employees do, someone does) so I wouldn't risk it😬
One thing we have in common, garage full of stuff and no cars parked inside.
LOL Too funny! :D
My prediction is that you'll be renting off site parking for the trash truck soon. That thing is gonna get a STANK on it soon enough.
I wash it (inside and out) after every run. Without any trash in it there is nothing to stink.
