Just forgot to tell to play 20+ hours a day in the first week of the league and have someone to trade for you since you will run maps like a maniac on cocaine. But yes, for currency farm, that's the way and Grimro is one of the best.
unironically a viable strat if you have a small-ish guild with someone who's particularly apt at handling trades for everyone while also still somehow progressing themselves. us regular players can do it too, just kinda requires making the first week of the league even more of a job than PoE usually is lol
@@Sammysapphira the thing that became obvious to me last league is how much of a leg up players with a lot of playtime has over people like myself, who plays a lot, but has a family, etc. It is more than the time spent because you come late for selling items when they are worth more than the mid to late league prices, you get late to making the good crafts, and you get late for selling the items when people are in a rush to get stuff and pays at a premium price. It can feel somewhat like always eating scraps. It's not a big problem, but there is also that effect at play.
As a new player, finding out about the chaos recipe literally changed my early-game experience. There's a lot of pretty decent early-game gear for low as 1-5 chaos and when I figured out you can vendor a complete set of unidentified yellow gear (two rings, belt, boots and so on) for 2 chaos each, I was able to transition builds from act to early mapping much quicker.
Next step is realising you could make much more currency not doing it, if you're still doing it the third day of the league you're doing it very wrong and losing alot of money by wasting time. It can be useful if you're a few chaos short very early on only ( or done in team, if you're a maniac ) For example i skipped it entirely this league and made much more by just selling the yellow stuff that rolled well than using it to do the recepee. Get into a stricter loot filter fast ;) It took me so much time back in the day to rid myself from this receppe, be faster than me and enjoy

I feel like build makers don't realize that essences are not very valuable if you don't get to maps in the first week. Players "just starting out" probably aren't crafting big items with them, they can' sell them effectively, and even if they do, the values radically decay beyond the league start. Blueprints, logbooks, harvest juice, and maps retain value SOOO much better, and sell instantly for decent chunks of money.

Can't believe the chaos recipe doesn't get mentioned for people new to the game. Its the easiest concept to understand, it takes some time, but is guarenteed currency.
Also, for people who just focus on mapping. And don't plan on doing bosses, just wanna ass blast maps. SELL YOUR INFLUENCED MAPS. Those sell for a good amount especially early on.
I can't explain how much currency I made from selling JUST Eater invitations. Probably around 20-40 Divines. That's about 10k Chaos worth. Cause they were often being sold for like 200+ Chaos per. Exarch sold a bit more because people were rarely doing em'. So sell those too if you're someone that doesn't plan on farming those bosses.
Here is my pro tip. Buy kiracs memory of phaaryl. Currently 3 to 5 c. With that price you get free atlas progression without the need to find maps. Lots of currency shards. Easily you make upwards of 100c profit per memory and you progress your atlas very very fast. Also the only and best way to farm fracturing orbs which sky rocket in price mid league
Skryah here, that's my Lightning Conduit build from Kalandra which has over 400 divines worth of gear. You could probably start LC and have a good time, but it got nerfed early game really hard, although the curse changes make up for a good chunk of it.
