You should use your own measurements when cutting. For this particular tutorial the bust measurement is 36. So it depends on the size you want to cut x

Is there a zipper at the back?

It depends on the fabric you want to use . If it is stretch no need for a zip . But if it doesn’t stretch then you have to add a zip
