sorry but this is the best vlog that you done in the last 6 months (showing the business side of your work). This shows everyone how hard you work. In the past I also loved the vlogs that talked about how you use lightroom, etc - which show how intelligent you are (i.e you don't just sit around all day putting makeup on and taking photos and go on exotic trips).
You DO so much, Josie. As one of your followers, I don't want you to EVER feel stressed out on OUR account: Your vlogs are of such high quality, we don't mind waiting (I shouldn't speak for everyone else, but I am doing so HERE). Stress (and esp. ACCUMULATED stress over time) will AGE you/make you ILL (something no serum can remedy!) ... and NONE of us want that for you. I always admire how successful you are and this video shows exactly why. You work so hard all the time, you're so conscientious, humble and warm. This is so inspirational for me! If anyone thinks that what you influencers do isn’t hard work or don’t appreciate that it is in fact your job I really hope they watch it. You are right, Josie. Unless we are involved with these aspects of blogging, vlogging, Instagram, etc. We had no idea how much goes into all these venues. You work very hard. I appreciate all you do to encourage us to look our best and take pride in our efforts.
This is the first really realistic video, especially with regards to all the admin and how long everything takes, that I've seen. I'm applying this to my business as I don't do TH-cam but this has helped me to feel a lot better about myself and less overwhelmed by everything I have to do, knowing that it's okay and it doesn't just take 2 seconds as it's so often made out to seem by other youtubers . Looking at how hard you work you are so right. Working long hours regardless how you are feeling . Standing and modelling clothes in all weather's even in snow ! Then a lot of short travels all your outfits then to be washed and steamed. They only see the expensive clothes bags and jewellery . Not all the meetings computer time having to look good and you can't have a down day in front of the camera. Then your everyday life like you are showing. Nothing comes without hard work and you are a hard worker. Sure I have not even covered half of it. 😂 my daugther is your age and so I know how hard young girls work today with everything so expensive and a lot of pressure on them a lot more than I did at that age.

so so interesting. I didn't think influencers laid around and ate chocolate all day, but the scope of work was very interesting. A really great overview on something I don't know much about, but a lot of people spout opinions on.

I didn't even notice the video was 1 hour long until I was reaching the end. Loved every second! And this is only a part of the job, there are so many things that I'm sure you didn't tell but it's so nice to see this behind the scenes! I would love love to have my own job, work from home etc but it requires a lot of discipline! Not easy at all because it becomes harder to differentiate between working hours and off work hours.

So glad you did this vlog. A lot of young girls think TH-cam is an easy job, lots of free trips and goodies. They totaly forget about IG and Facebook contant that has to be made as well. You have to create contant 24/7 weather you feel great or not. I know you work really hard and that you don't have the typical 9 to 5 job.

I would hazard saying that to you it's obvious how much work goes into Josie's vlogs because YOU also work hard and have insight/foresight and imagination. Or you're a mother! (Mother's know!). But lots of people take things (surprisingly) at face value, so this is an eye opener for a large chunk of viewers.

I have 1 day a week when I’m off from uni and work.. where I sort out any letters and emails and contact anyone who needs contacting.. work, kids school letters, school events, nursery payment, bills, payslips blah blah etc and then cleaning and those are my least favourite days.. admin hurts my brain 🙈.. So hats off to you for your work ethic
Ever since I started watching your videos, I suspected you were a really hard worker based on the way you carry yourself and your attention to detail (I'm a detail-oriented perfectionist myself, and I know how time-consuming that can be in any area of life!). This was confirmed by work vlogs like this one - however, this one is more detailed, and I'm so grateful for your generosity in opening up about the details of your day-to-day work and communicating with brands. I would love to see more of these (e.g., maybe one on rookie mistakes you made as a beauty blogger/youtuber?), and I'm so very grateful to you for making them - apart from being informative, they put me in a good mood and help me be more productive (I just had a 2h work session after I finished watching this vlog). All the power to you for your well-deserved success!!!
Wonderful behind the scenes video! So many have no idea of all the minutiae and hard work involved in in building your brand; cultivating and maintaining good client relations; keeping track of expenses, taxes and the accounting side of your time and efforts; hiring needed assistance to help execute all that you do; the time and admin in just booking flights, travel and occasional venues can be frustrating, at best; the long hours and endless juggling of scheduling everything. You showed just a portion of what constitutes being a successful blogger/content creator! I'm so glad you gave a glimpse into just a small part of your job and all of your diligence and hard work! Some people think it's not "hard work" if you're not digging ditches, but working 12 to 15 hour days consistently, juggling all your commitments, keeping all your deadlines and all the planning and coordination behind each day is no easy task... AND you do it all with such a lovely disposition, style and grace! Hard work comes in all sorts of forms and fashions. Bravo to you for making it look much easier than it actually is. Well done, Josie and big squeezes to your precious boys! I appreciate all you do! Thank you!

I loved this video! It’s very apparent how hard you work and you have quickly become by favorite TH-camr/influencer! As for the packaging issue, maybe you could refuse items that don’t come in more sustainable packaging? I know it would be a big sacrifice at first but if enough influencers do the same, companies would have to adapt.

Good Afternoon Darling Josie, I have just been catching up on the past few uploads and thoroughly enjoyed this video. It was one of the best ones for sure, more of a 'Day In the Life' which is fabulous. It was very detailed and insightful and gave a realistic outlook into how much goes into doing the job that you do. Saying that you are a shining example of someone who works hard but clearly loves what you do. So many think that 'working hard' means you do not enjoy what you do when actually it is far from it. You work hard because you love what you do as well as doing the things you need to do to achieve what you want to achieve.
Well done! Would love to see more 'Day in the Life' videos as well as the vlogs. Of course the fashion videos are wonderful as well :-)

Thank you so much for filming this video. I too know of many young women who hope to become Influencers and it is so important that they learn about the whole job and not just the glamorous parts. I also appreciated this video for myself as it is easy to get swept away by the luxury and not realize all of the time consuming, plain hard work that also contributes to the wonderful content you create!

Thank you for doing this Josie. It's really interesting to get such an in-depth look into what your job is actually like. It came at just the right moment for me - I spent today moping around with the Sunday blues, wishing I could think of something to do to get me out of my crappy office rut. The only career I really aspire to anymore is blogging (specifically, I'm interested in setting up a wedding blog and eventually my own wedding stationery company), so I'm going to take the fact that you posted this video today as a sign that I need to work my bum off and really try to make a go of it. (Also - I have the same sausage dog mug at 3:01!)
