It is completely normal to miss spears with Nida, it does not have a big hit box and it is easy to evade, but is so funny when you hit the correct one and one shot the enemy 😂

It's a difficult skillshot. It's best used from the fog of war, when enemies can't see you. In lane especially it really is so easy to dodge.

Your videos of midlane Nidalee have inspired me to try it out myself (as I already loved playing Nidalee but don't like jungle very much), and I've just played 2 matches and it was SO MUCH FUN! It's been a while since I've had fun with a new champion. I'll play it once again as soon as possible : D

I used to main Nid mid i dont remember which season, but it was when her spear was WAYYY more OP and wider. But we had to farm all the way until lvl 6 to get cougar form. Early it was so hard hahahah

That's almost Season 3 Nidalee levels of damage.
Speaking of which, she got changed in Season 4. First her cougar Q scaled off of AD in addition to AP, so there were many hybrid or straight up AD focused builds at the time, before they settled on the current version of her forms.
Second, they nerfed her spear flight-speed, AP ratio, and the width of the projectile, so that they did not hit as hard, while being much harder to land, as they were relatively easy to hit beforehand. - No wonder Nidalee was God-tier+ in ARAM at the time

do you still do more damage if you throw the spear and walk away or can you throw the spear and keep walking towards the enemy for equal damage?
im pretty sure that moving or not the spear at max range will do a lot of damage

You were spot on, the dance is like us chasing the like button. We keep going for it but never really get there.
If memory serves Nidalee stopped being played mid when they reworked her to make her playstyle more dynamic. She used to not really be incentivized to dash in after landing a spear and her jungle clear wasn’t good.
If I remember right her mid lane playstyle was purely long range poke and really strong healing.
Brings back memrors of the good ole days of xPeke shenanigans. :)

I just got to the "Oh shit that's not my team mate" part and it hit a cord within my soul because when I did make that same mistake I died... kinda glad even people I think are high elo still can make that mistake.
How do you get your resolution like that for your league ?
Whenever I play Nidalee on ARAM, I always go Comet instead of Harvest. I find Nida spears do so much damage that if they're half health, they'll die without the Harvest. Usually they do before Harvest range, anyway.

the nidalee traps have low scaling due to the fact you can at that point in the game have 10 of them active
lets say only half get stepped on each doing 300 at that point in the game its about 1500 its pretty decent for a dual ability character

I'm not sure if it's deadliest nidalee spears. Back in season 4 or 5 you could build 4 archangels, DC and voidstaff/5th archangel. Throw the spear and flash away to increase the damage(i think it doesn't work anymore). And i was oneshotting tanks.

how the hell did he know Rengar was right behind him when he got him in mid-air????
rengars ult puts eyes on you if he is nearby and the closest champ to you. Zwag was running away and the eyes never left meaning rengar was tailing him so he threw a spear at a point where rengar would have to be to jump on him.
I paused the video and immediately hit the Like button after that Lvl 1 blue buff snipe! Gotta love it!
