Phil Brown's Fishing Thanks for the positive comment👍🏼 I love fishing for roach on the waggler, the time of the year in this particular venue the roach seem to push right out in the open water.
Mark McLennan Thanks Mark, it’s been a lot kinder to me this time round, managed to beat my pb a couple of times since this video, I had immaculate 2-13 in June, I doubt there is a better roach fishery in the country than this place.. Your massive brace inspired me to have another go for these amazing fish 👍🏼
Another angler who is happy to show the fishing and tell us how great it is but does not actually tell us the venue. Really annoys me, we are all fisherman and should share venues so more of us can enjoy them!
100paulburgess this venue is no secret, the place is called Highbridge Fisheries near Snetterton in Norfolk, my tench vids are at Bawburgh lakes in Norfolk, but I don’t reveal the venues of my predator fishing, as predator fish are so vulnerable and don’t handle pressure very well
Naming venues is a bit of an emotive topic - My own humble opinion, for what it's worth, is if a venue is on "the circuit" or is well known already then naming it isn't really an issue. However, there are occasions where someone can put an awful lot of time and effort into searching out waters, or can be told about somewhere in confidence, or , on a hunch, has concentrated on venues with no previous history of the target species (which today basically means anything but carp (sic!)) and comes up trumps; in such instances I'd say the angler is fully entitled to reap the rewards, enjoy the peace and quiet, and not have to compete for swims when circus comes to town. I can fully appreciate the average angler with work or family commitments etc, who's only therefore able to fish every couple of weeks or so, probably doesn't have the time, nor indeed the inclination to track down new locations and in fairness such occasional anglers would probably have no detrimental effect, or put added pressure, on a fishery. Unfortunately though big fish anglers can be a different breed and are often willing to do whatever it takes to locate and get onto a "going" venue. Incidentally, I'm sure having seen footage of a venue it would not in any case take an awful lot of tracking down if someone really wanted too?!
I don't blame any angler for keeping the location of a water to themselves. It is worth remembering that, once it has been named on the internet, a productive water is named for every angler in the country (world!) to see and is likely to be swamped by those who are too lazy to find waters for themselves. Even if the video is taken down, once it has been publicised, it is impossible to retrieve that information and the damage is some. When uploading information, the angler should also consider other anglers that may already enjoy the relative peace and quiet. In a crowded country like Britain, with (we are told) millions of anglers, it makes no sense to name the exact location of a water or swim. It is still possible for others to enjoy watching the videos and learn from them without knowing exactly where it is.
Why should he name the venue he has found the fish to enjoy catching, If you tell people where venues are before you know it every roach angler in the country will be there. To many anglers are to lazy to find there own fish. 1

I clicked on this by mistake as I thought it was an excerpt from a Quentin Tarantino film; the follow up to 'Reservoir Frogs'.
