Thank you so much for sharing my work and mentioning me on your channel as your inspiration. I lightly glued the clusters to a large coffee dyed piece of paper as I went then did two rows of stitching to secure them down, then ripped them into individual cluster from there. I used two colors of paper doilies as well. I enjoyed watching you make yours, they are gorgeous! Thanks for sharing my work! Laurette 🌸🤗🌸
Like Tina said you were inspiring and your layering technique is just beautiful. Thanks for giving us more details on your process. I'll make some on my channel and give you and Tina a shout out
Thank you so much Tina, I really really love 💕 those clusters. And Laurette’s ones are really really good too. You are incredible and amazing too. You do such awesome work too. Please stay safe and well too xxx Mags
Clusters are so pretty. Need to make some as you did. Im new to junk journaling. Been watching your newer videos but came across this one. Very happy to watch creating such pretty clusters. I have to say your desk is really clean here.... lol 😆 🤣
Thanks so much, Tina, for sharing Laurette’s gorgeous work! She is such a sweetheart and an incredible crafter. For your viewers, Laurette has an Etsy shop where you can find her ephemera. It is www.etsy.com/shop/AJeweldDesign. Her daughter sells digitals and Laurette’s ephemera is under Vintage Paper Girl in the shop! Hope you all will go check out the shop! Thanks, Tina! ❤️
Oh thank you so much Gayle, I hadn’t been aware of Laurette’s shop. Thank you for sharing the link, she is so very talented isn’t she? Thank you Gayle, hope you’re having a wonderful weekend x
Clusters are beautiful by you and Laurette! Have to say sharing in this community of crafters is so inspiring. Thank you so much Tina for being supportive of crafters and sharing their beautiful work with us. I wish Laurette much success with a future channel. Please share her debut date with the rest of us.
Oh thank you so much MaryAnn. Yes we are so lucky to be able to share our love of crafting and ideas with one another. Let’s hope she starts a channel soon x
I love these and I got to craft right along with you which doesn't happen very often but I had everything I needed right in front of me even the florentine ladies turned out beautifully thanks
thanks Sheila for saying which of the pintables they are. I was looking and I couldn't find the exact ones so now I've purchased 3 or 4 others because they're all beautiful thanks for making them Tina, yes we don't mind (if you remember) you telling which of your kits these are from. Thanks Laurette for sharing.
Loving the clusters that you received and the all ones you made using the ladies. I'll be glad when I can use my printer to purchase your gorgeous papers. Thanks again for showing how to do those clusters, if I quit overthinking the process they should turn out really good!!
I absolutely love Laurette's Clusters (I've seen them in person) and it tickled me pink to watch her talent inspire someone else to create their version of the clusters.
Good day. Always enjoy your creativity. I need to pull out my glue gun. Sometimes a quick stick down is what helps keep the process going. Getting cool here in New York and our leaves are turning beautiful colors. Have a great day.
goodmorning from Vancouver Island. l love these little clusters you've both made. l find making them is a calming exercise..thank you always enjoyable 😷 🇨🇦 😁
Lovely clusters, yours as well as Laurette’s. My clusters are bigger so I will try these for my journal that is still under construction 😋 Have an awesome day Tina!
Oh so pretty both of you! And I like looking at pretty things and you always hit the mark. I love Victorian so lace and clutter are a big part of my life ;- ) Thank you and Laurette! HINT: if you put lace curtains up to your windows you can't see the dirt so bad! Spreads out the misery of doing widows.
Hi Sheila and Tina! Laurette does have an Etsy shop! It is www.etsy.com/shop/AJewledDesign. You’ll find her ephemera under the Vintage Paper Girl section of the Etsy shop. 😁❤️
Love these clusters Tina. I've been making quite a lot at the moment and love doing them. It gives a different appearance using the normal white doilies instead of coffee dyed.
those are gorgeous,i have never made any so i think i will use your video to make some of my own-wish i has dome small pictures like you have but i have not,do you know if i can buy it somewere? and thank you for sharing ,bug hug from norway
you know what I think...it is very lovely and flattering to copy another's work, and you have certainly given heaps of Kudos, to your friends skill, but your problem of sewing, gluing or any other difference is a mute point, because, you each have your own way of doing things, so credit where it is due, your brilliant, in your own right, do not stress about doing the same, because it will not look the same no matter...lol xxx
Oh thank you so much Sherry, that is really kind of you. I love the way we all have our own style, and even doing the same project each person’s version turns out different x
i cant get the bling with the black background in norway-the one you are using-would you mind putting some in your etsy shop-or let me buy some of you? i know i should not been asking this ,but i love it ,its just gorgeous and fits with almost anything..
New to Junk journaling so pls excuse the question as I’m sure it’s been answered. Is the rule of thumb to print the ephemera on card stock and printable papers for the signatures on copy paper?
Welcome to my channel and your newfound hobby! You couldn’t have picked a more fun pastime 🤗. Honestly it really doesn’t matter what you use, there are no rights or wrongs, I often tend to use exactly as you said, but if depends on the journal and if you don’t have access to thicker card, then paper works fine too xxx
Very pretty! She might have Glued them to hold them together and then sewed them to burlap fabric with white thread? I can't speak for her, but on the video that's what it looks like to me. Some people are using Wilton bottles for fabric tack. What do you think about that ?
I was lucky enough to be sent some of those awesome sweetbelle bottles for my Fabri tac, they are wonderful, as the Fabri tac bottles were really a paint to use x
Gayle A was saying her friend, Laurette, had opened a sub shop in her daughter's Etsy store, A Jeweld Design. She is called VintagePaperGirl and address is www.etsy.com/shop/AJeweldDesign I am making an assumption that this might be the same person.
Just for you, Tina, the beginning of my most recent video shows my mess and under my desk if you want to check it out. I just wanted you to know that you are not alone, luv. Love&hugs
