I am more concerned about root depth and expansion. I'd like to place a row at the back corner of my house. However the septic tank is about 5' from that location. I see some websites claim roots go 8' deep. I also see some say they will just expand forever if you let them whereas others claim they will only get to about 4' wide
Now thats my kind of gardening, get the saw out 😂 good video
Haha 😂 it was the only way to get through it. Thanks for watching 👍
That was hard work
Tell me about it, it won't be a job I do every year 🤣
Have you tried the Rootslayer? I bought it two years ago and it saves a lot of hard work 😁
@@jolandbos3124 I have seen them, if I was planning to divide things like that regularly I would definitely get one
@@jasonspalmparadise I use a digging bar but I do have an old saw too! It is a workout for sure.
@@petercanino269 Not something you want to do regularly 😂
How old are these?
Been in ground about 3 years
Thanks. Just bought a bunch and plan on planting in next few days. Finding so much varying information on these
@@kylehobart5194 just keep them well watered for first year and they will just do their thing

The rest will go between fence and a concrete patio with about 7' space between.
