You masterfully mixed together all the best songs and more, put together the entire bg visuals, and dished out a heartwarming interview. The ending had me in tears too. I didn’t know someone else loved ape escape music as much as me until I discovered this. I jammed out to your mix while driving from Tokyo to Kyoto recently, and even blasted it at Monkey Park in Kyoto! Thanks for the best time. I'm late to say how good this is, but man thank you so much for the mix it's been my favorite game since when I lived in Japan as a kid (2005 - 2009). I'm 24 now and at least once a year I get time to play Ape Escape 2 and 3 without any interference just to relive my best memories.. Only god knows how much I wanted an Ape Escape 4

I discovered this OST from various mixes that featured ape escape tracks. Slowly started going straight to the OST over the mixes. I can not thank you enough for making such an epic mix of these tracks. I’m so happy to know there are other people that love this games soundtrack as much as me!
re: let you know in comments, I enjoyed post @30:00, "please turn up the volume" request, level extremely loud engaged, and enjoyed. I think your bridging of game and club vibes is really cool and people LOVE this scene clash. Near me, in the North of England, both Studio Liverpool, with WipeOut and Reflections (in Gateshead) with Driver, had pure dope sounds because the folk who made them were heavy into going out on the town to listen to music, and after folk like us (in the 1990s) would game until the wee hours, assisted by many varied substances, coffee, tabs, kebabs, etc...., with the decks on for many games, but I could run the MegaDrive, Dreamcast and PS1 thru the house soundsystem for canny tracks, stage 2 dodonpachi, GT2 menus, but not race music lol I'm rambling but the craic is good. I love your music and it's always on when I'm gaming these days. Much love. 🤘🙇🤙
Bruh, Eversummer Island vs Hot Springs (14:47) fucking blew me away and the lead in from Specter's Castle to Peak Point Matrix knocked me on my ass. You are a genius!!!

The music industry is absolute trash at the moment-- thank the Gods for the DNB revival on TH-cam! Excellent set, excellent energy! Specter's Castle always gets me absolutely hyped! That crazy base BPM. I love working out to Ape Escape.

Had the pleasure of watching Soichi perform live last night, he did a fantastic set and was really friendly. He stayed a while after his set to say hello and take pictures with everybody :)
When you started punching the air in excitement during Peak Point Matrix, I think you channeled the feeling of EVERY 90s kid when they first got to that final boss and THAT was such a raw emotion you captured perfectly. Genuinely, thankyou for this.
Ape Escape has such a big place in my heart its criminal people don't know more about this series. This was beautiful. Thank you so much for interviewing Mr. Terada. I was getting emotional around the time you started crying too... to hear Mr. Terada say this your interview let him see the value of his Ape Escape soundtrack and how it influenced so many of us is really heartwarming. You did an excellent job with the mix. Thank you so much man.

But I rediscovered and started to undertood a lot about me in this last couple of days. And combined with my new art exploration this period of change has open my eyes to something new and special. Time Station is my favorite song in the whole series and that mashup was absolutely HEAVENLY. All your mixes are amazing but this one was a cut above, thank you for your hard work Dedeco 🙏
Thanks for a brilliant DJ set. It brought back a lot of wonderful childhood memories playing the Ape Escape games. Greetings from the republic of Ireland 😀
Ape Escape was my first video game, I remember being blown away by the soundtrack at the time. I never thought that I would hear such a good mix of theses songs after all those years, thank you!
Absolutely worth the wait. The original ape escape soundtrack was one of the biggest influences and the start of my discovery of electronic music and I still love it to this day, so this mix is very meaningful to me. Thank you dedeco and Sochi terada!! 💖
I started listening to 90s/00s vgm I think about 2 years ago after looking for something that was less boring than lo-fi and with a bit more variety than halo music I listen to to get work done. VGM music hits the spots and helps me stay focused while doing work, these sets are amazing and I don't think I appreciated the music at the time when I used to play some of these games. Maybe because dnb and garage was so common in the uk. That time period imho is the best era of the past 50 years. This is culture
i can't understate how much i love these games, and the sound soichi terada created for them. it sounds silly but this mix actually made me start to tear up, i can't believe i hadn't found it before now. just, shit, thanks for putting this together, it means so much to me.
Primordial Ooze is one of my favorite tracks, it gives me such nostalgia. But the way you mixed in Freeze Continent 2's bells motifs has elevated the track to a whole new level, it's crazy how well you made them complement eachother.
Parabéns pelo mix, ficou sensacional. Nunca imaginei que alguém iria fazer algo tão incrível com um dos meus jogos preferidos. A entrevista com o Terada foi ótima. Valeu demais! E esse "meu deus" no final do vídeo kkkk
I discovered this video 2 weeks ago and I swear I make up 5000 of the views. Thanks for the nostalgia hit that plays in the background of my life everyday
The way you made Specters Factory sound so ethereal and give it a creepy factory vibe was so dope. My fav part by far. That one and the Wabi Sabi Wall secrion.
I was definitely one of those kids Terada introduced d'n'b to! Amazing set and extremely cool you got to interview him. The part where you cried, I cried as well. Before this I had no idea how he felt while making the ost and other stuff like what games he likes and what OMODAKA is all about. 10/10 video 🙏
this is the best thing i ever listened too. i play it on repeat at work and never get stressed out anymore! grew up with ape escape as my only game lol thank you so much for making this!
Its crazy to think in order to play this game back when it first came out you needed a controller with Analogue sticks. I remember when I went to rent it at BlockBuster the employee had to ask if I had the right controller to play it, I didn't lol! After begging my parents to buy me a new controller with Analogue sticks I was swept away by the Fascinating world of Ape Escape and Soichi's dream-like Jungle Beats! Your set's are always the best, keep it up homie 💜
Yknow I played Ape Escape sometime in the early 2000s but I don't have any recollection of which game it was. The older i get, the less i remember things from my childhood but your mix really brought back a lot of fond memories. Thank you so much for sharing this, your passion for this is truly amazing to see and I wish you luck in everything you do in the future!
Oh wow I love this. As someone who spent a lot of their childhood with the original ape escape game, it brings back so many memories. Great to see others are finally catching on to how good the soundtrack of this game is. It's crazy how as soon as each peice of music fades in, I can instantly picture the level in my minds eye.
Never got into Ape Escape due to never being a Sony person back in the 2000's but YOUR MIX IS KILLER!!! You did your job and made me appreciate this series and their OST's. So many good tunes and this felt like an amazing "best of" mix. Phenomenal job mixing and DJing all this together. The visuals in the BG were the cherry on top.
Maybe I'm here late but i came to say that i love your work, I am very happy too see beautiful people like you out there doing great stuff with all this love. Bro, I hope you're well and healthy. Thanks for bringing me joy today.
This is making my week, man. Thank you. I played the Ape Escape trilogy in the 2000s and was a big fan, don't know why Sony never made another one outside of Japan. Also, I've been a big fan of Soichi's other work like Sumo Jungle, as well as Shinichiro Yokota for the past 5 years or so. These are some of the most standout soundtracks of the PS2 era, IMO. Have you heard Terada-san's side project Omodaka?
Hey I found this video on my algorithm, best recommendation in a while! I LOVE Ape Escape! One of my childhood favorites and I wish there was a Remake of the 1st game, the best one IMO! The music is engraved into my brain and hearing the music is just sooo good and finally seeing the original composer of such cool sounds was also a great touch, thank you!! I also wanted to add that at the 46 minute mark, I knew my all time FAVORITE track was starting up and I was jamming to it! So cool to know it's also your favorite song too 😁😁
So I've been listening to this mix a ton for the past few weeks and there are so many amazing parts that keep me coming back (especially around 20:00 that whole part is insane). Ape escape meant so much to me as a kid and it's Soichi Terada's music that got me into Dnb and Jungle and honestly music in general. This mix brought back so many memories of playing the game as a kid just to listen to the music, so to hear it all remixed together with your own beats added on top is amazing. I really enjoy all your mixes, keep it up because these are seriously great!!!
Thanks so much for this remix. I grew up playing these games and the soundtracks specifically always stood out to me. those transitions are good af! I put this on at least three times a week at my desk job lol, makes the time go by faster.
After 25 years I finally caught all the monkeys and beat the true ending a few days ago. And now I feel a painful nostalgia. Thank you for this
Congrats my friend 🎉

Absolutely worth the wait. The original ape escape soundtrack was one of the biggest influences and the start of my discovery of electronic music and I still love it to this day, so this mix is very meaningful to me. Thank you dedeco and Sochi terada!! 💖
Ahhhh I knew you were very excited for this one so this is great to hear!
ape escape is a great series i love ape escape 2
Maaaan i would lie if I said I wasn't crying with you in the end. Thank you
:')
You felt it too... Incredible.
Doesn't sound silly at all, brother ❤
Primordial Ooze is one of my favorite tracks, it gives me such nostalgia. But the way you mixed in Freeze Continent 2's bells motifs has elevated the track to a whole new level, it's crazy how well you made them complement eachother.
Parabéns pelo mix, ficou sensacional. Nunca imaginei que alguém iria fazer algo tão incrível com um dos meus jogos preferidos. A entrevista com o Terada foi ótima. Valeu demais! E esse "meu deus" no final do vídeo kkkk
Mano pode crê, lembro de vários jogos com dnbe jungle.
Pena que aqui em.sampa tá morto o role
I discovered this video 2 weeks ago and I swear I make up 5000 of the views. Thanks for the nostalgia hit that plays in the background of my life everyday
The way you made Specters Factory sound so ethereal and give it a creepy factory vibe was so dope. My fav part by far. That one and the Wabi Sabi Wall secrion.
I listen to this almost every day. Freaking awesome.
That Hot Springs Remix AAAAAAAAAAAAAA, MGGG, My favorite traaaack!
Ape Escape's soundtrack will forever be a GOAT! loved this!
this is the best thing i ever listened too. i play it on repeat at work and never get stressed out anymore! grew up with ape escape as my only game lol thank you so much for making this!
This video never gets old! Ill be listening to this when im in the mood for games.
This format with an interview I think is something no one else is doing. It is so amazing you got the opportunity.
Thanks for sharing your story, it must have been painful lol
Used to watch my brother play this game. Thanks for the nostalgia trip
youre welcome haha
Brother, this just screams late 90's, awesome job on the mix
I love your selection, your enthusiasm and your video editing (41:25, among other great moments) and I love your Bombette shirt
Great job!!!! Thoroughly enjoyed this, being a huge ape escape fan myself
ahhhh such a dream to watch him live. kudos on reaching that Kaos Pad haha
This was AMAZING!! One of the best jungle sets i have ever heard!! Thank you!!
wow thank you so much!
THE GOAT
NO U
Oh wow I love this. As someone who spent a lot of their childhood with the original ape escape game, it brings back so many memories.
Great to see others are finally catching on to how good the soundtrack of this game is.
It's crazy how as soon as each peice of music fades in, I can instantly picture the level in my minds eye.
13:30 was crazy
Never got into Ape Escape due to never being a Sony person back in the 2000's but YOUR MIX IS KILLER!!! You did your job and made me appreciate this series and their OST's. So many good tunes and this felt like an amazing "best of" mix. Phenomenal job mixing and DJing all this together.
The visuals in the BG were the cherry on top.
8:30 I loooooooove this transition! 😍
that one is annoying for me because it looks so easy on video but it's so hard in real life lmao
Maybe I'm here late but i came to say that i love your work, I am very happy too see beautiful people like you out there doing great stuff with all this love. Bro, I hope you're well and healthy. Thanks for bringing me joy today.
とっても満足感ある約1時間だった。特にすいちゅうケイブからミズメカ戦のBGMに移行するところが元々似た曲だからかスタイリッシュに変化してくようで好き。
So cool to know it's also your favorite song too 😁😁
I love ape escape and soichi terada, he's my childhood. Thanks to him and other games of that era, I love jungle and DnB :)
So glad you enjoyed it T-T
Thanks so much for this remix. I grew up playing these games and the soundtracks specifically always stood out to me. those transitions are good af! I put this on at least three times a week at my desk job lol, makes the time go by faster.
