Interesting the comment of "introduce the brass instrument culture of Japan to the world" It is .... really is. Have a friend (yeah I got few lol)..... he's a retired professor of music....... TRUMPET extraordinaire and recording artist. Asked him about his albums and he said his biggest market is Japan.

でも実際に判定するの難しいよ。吹部だったから分かるけど激しい動きをしながら音程がここまでが完璧なのは人並外れた才能よ。しかし、良いパフォーマンスなのは間違いない。

口パクだとか別撮りだというコメントもあり悲しくなった。実際のところ真実は分かりませんがそれを言うのであればその程度のオーディションであり、それを見分けられない審査員と観客だったということになるけれど…。
また、英語を話せないことについても時間は有限なのでパフォーマーとしては言語スキルを習得することに時間を割くより、パフォーマンススキルを向上させる方に時間を使うのは当たり前では？
英語が話せないと成り立たないパフォーマンスなら話しは別だけれど。

All four women are very beautiful and talented and if I had to guess I think that the lady with the streak of blonde hair is the youngest and tha lady playing the trombone is the oldest but I could be wrong and you can't tell by my username but I am half Japanese on my mother's side she unfortunately passed away three years ago and would have loved to listen to this.

I do not have a musical bone in my body, almost never listen to music, do not know the names of musicians however I have listened to and watched these delightful Japanese women countless times. I love to see them own their power on the stage. The old ugly Brit at the end of the table should step down and get someone that gives off a better vibe. He presents as a spoiled rich kid that never accomplished anything in the arena he judges, or maybe he is more than a business man I have no clue. On the other hand the personalities balance each other out. The women judges have quite the genuine charm so warm and comforting enabling the contestants to be their best.

It didn't look like they were not playing the instruments as their hand movements didn't match the music. Must have been pre-recorded music so they could do the dance moves...

Nice "lip syncing." Sorry to burst anyone's bubble, but as a horn player who has done studio work, I can tell you without any doubt that what you are hearing is NOT these girls jerking their horns around on stage. ....Not one cracked note. Not any sounds of bouncing in the tone. Not one note out of tune. Everything perfectly together from the first note. Nope....this was recorded in a studio by studio musicians. No doubt at all. Lip syncing at its best. But I will say that it's fun to watch, without a doubt!
please search "MOS" on TH-cam. their channel. You can see their real power, and you realize it is real sound in this movie.
Surely you've seen Marching Bands. Some use as high step...there's no 'bounce' in tone quality. As someone whose played in marching bands and amusement park bands, notes don't crack, the tone doesn't bounce. You perform daily, you rehearse daily, you end up in a good physical condition these things you think you'd hear just aren't there.
And in this setting with their horns mic'd, it should sound like this. I can think of several horn sections that sound like this in a live setting.
