I love the animation in this! And how you use the dialogue to express both pain from wukong and macaque! I like to think this is macaque trying to reach wukong from the scroll and his haunting past that they both never truly moved on from! 😊
Honestly this is what I want to happen cause these two let these problems fester for too long. It feels like in a way they are both avoiding talking about it because even though it’s been so long it still hurts and let’s be real the conversation will have brutal truths. Anyway this looks awesome!

Tbh i think it "could" happen between 3/4 season as we know Macaque is sitting on the mountain right now, but u know , it could even happen after the whole 4 season. After the immense struggling the both monkeys went through, Mac just wanted to go home , to flower fruit mountain, where he should be . Wukong wanted that tho , he needed to acknowledge some facts that his hero story ain't that hero for everyone. Especially for his ex-friend. Tbh just felt song was good for them 😂
