Happy to post the first comment. I heard this sweet song for the 1st time last week at a Steve Bell concert. I could play it over and over again. It's like wrapping myself with something both strong and gentle. Jesus.
What a beautiful song that I found here on St Patrick's day morning 2015 as I lie in bed sick ! Amidst all of the green beer, green Mardi Gras beads, and parades, it's wonderful to have this faithful rendition of Patrick's Breastplate. Patrick, our brother in the faith, lived some 1600 years ago but he calls us to "hold on". He holds on to the Trinity upon whom he may call. What a great word to the world-wide church in these days when we see ISIS beheading Syrian and Egyptian Christians for merely declaring publicly upon Whom they hold fast to. Thank you Steve Bell for a faithful rendition, and Go raibh mile maith agat a Phádraig as an dochas agus an cuidiú a thabhairt dúinn. (Thanks a million to you Patrick for the hope and the help that you gave us. - in Irish Gaelic)
