i think its mostly the disappointment there was so much hype for this line and Abbey and all of them have Poly hair, its just stings more than the other g3 dolls with poly.

The fact that for this entire skultimate set and any clawdeen doll you would need to put it in a style that won’t fuck up the hair or reroot the doll is not good , you shouldn’t have buyers do the thing you didn’t want to do

I washed and curled my basic Clawdeen and her hair is so soft and bouncy and shiny. I do get the dislike for poly and wish they would stop using it because kids can’t care for it, but overall I don’t mind it as much as other people
Has anyone found Lagoona yet? I can’t wait to see. Here SS is $29.99 I still think it’s a great piece even though it’s not the most exciting fashion and the poly hair. But I appreciate the amount of articulation, 2 outfits with 2 pairs of shoes, and accessories. 🖤🖤🖤 and each doll has pieces I like I love opportunities to mix & match.

Oh my the base dolls haven't even been introduced in Bulgaria, and i feel like the monster high franchise wont get to us. The base dolls are gorje, im not sure how i feel about the second wave of dose but uhm i hope we will get them soon so i could see for myself!
I agree! They are super cute dolls and I like painting in the details that they missed out on like the shoes having little intricate designs. I think I’m going to wait until they go on sale, because if I bought them all right now it’s be wayyy to expensive. Also I don’t mind the hair, I’m going to eventually reroot my clawdeen that I have because I tried to save her hair by washing it in warm water and conditioner and she had really frizzy ends I just had to cut them all off, so now her hair is a lot shorter. I like to make doll wigs too though so I don’t mind a fun side project.
Will you all please relax about the poly? Good god, its not going to disintegrate the moment you touch it. At worst it'll take a while, and I doubt most of you will still have these dolls by the time its become a real problem. And its not like Mattel is just cheapening out here, bc they were able to use saran for Cleo. The main reason they're using poly for these is because there are some hair colors you just cant do with saran. Take a chill pill guys, ffs

I'm autistic and I love feeling my dolls' hair, but that sadly doesn't go for a lot of the MH dolls even though I love them so much... Besides, getting these dolls second-hand in a couple of years will be a disaster because the hair will be a whole mess and untamable Excusing a company for cheaping out isn't going to give you bonus points. That hair will start curling upwards and turn into a gross hairball. Imagine if a child got it and starts playing with it.. oof. Also electrifying had poly too. Poly should not be on delux dolls, but of course mattel and mh are just cheap cashgrab and depend on nostalgia/brand name to sell.

i agree about the stock photos, i usually can pick out small details/differences in things like doll faces but couldn't for the life of me figure out why people were saying they looked so different from their stock photos? they probably look more like their stock photos than the other G3 dolls so far from what i see. anyways, it IS a disappointment that we're getting so many poly hair dolls, but since that's really the only big complaint i still see these dolls as beautiful all around. honestly the limited color palette and glitter makeup aren't even to my personal taste, but i think anyone who was drawn to these dolls originally will probably be pleased with them seeing them irl.

not all of them lay flat, take Twyla for example, her earings stick out pretty far (and i dont think they can even be put in backwards because of how they are angled forward, and not flat to the side of her head)
just adding a positive comment because yes, i hate the fact that poly deteriorates, but as a customizer, i don't really care. I was so scared to get basic Cleo because of the poly but it feels nice. Overall, in my personal situation, I would buy draculaura if i had the money. Shes so cute aaaa 🩷🩷🩷. (side note, when it does deteriorate, im so exited to get sparkly hair for her)

I got drac and straight out of the box her hair is… very messed up. The back is basically just bald. I love the sculpting, love the clothes. But like… mine is so messed up. She also doesn’t stand on her own. At all. Yet I don’t get a stand like g1 used to always come with.
I didnt like the fearidescent dolls at first - especially clawdeen. Like she, herself, is beautiful as always but her clothes all look so lazily done. Like the designer just went on photoshop with a generic image for the wolf on a shirt. I only really like Frankie and Draculaura. Mostly because they remind me quite a bit of their original design. Frankie with a plaid skirt and Draculaura with her black striped hair

yeah i wouldn't care about the texture being a lil worse or harder to manage personally, the only thing that truly bothers me is knowing it deteriorates over time :(
I want to get fearidescent Draculaura for the accessories but I’ll have to reroot her there is no way I’m keeping the hair it’s bad enough they got rid of the V bangs but for me personally that shade of pastel pink is ugly and there is too much of it I’m also not in love with the face (im in the minority there as I know plenty of people love this face mold and paint) im underwhelmed by the actual doll itself and if I’m paying that much money I want to to be good
I feel the Dolls that are imported out and to other countries are rlly low quality but the dolls in the US are top notch Recently I’ve ordered a doll from the US and it came is best shape but I have friends internationally who bought internationally and the dolls quality was completely different from mines (we bought the same ones)

I dislike that they dont seal frankies body. Like i handle my dolls alot, reposing, restuling, just having fun. Unfortunately, their stitches start to rub off.

G3 earrings do have specific orientations. The earrings have been molded a way so that when they are in the correct side they lay flat.
