Would love to know how much each of the projects on this channel actually cost (to build), perhaps a breakdown like Design Fees, Build cost etc. Perhaps that can be listed in future.

I've always loved that about the show Grand Designs. The insight into pricing helps shape my view of what's been accomplished. Throw enough cash at anything and you're bound to get descent results... but some people really pull off a lot with a little.

Wow! Yet another " please can I live there?". What a family home. The layout and materials used come together perfectly. And will become even more a home as the years pass. The garden too. Thank you for sharing.

Chicagoan here that briefly worked in Adelaide’s CBD after grad school. Nice to see this city featured.

Very spacious layout. Probably be keeping the garden doors open almost all the time.

The massive pains of glass reflect the outdoors in a way to camouflage this house, exceptional design

Amazing place, love the concept and materials. Since it's Australia it would be a low cost of 9 million AUD.

I'm always intrigued to hear words like 'practical' and see 2 storey glass..Who is practically cleaning this? What benefit and ease of living have you created for the owners?
I love the look, and at the same time glad I am not the one cleaning it.

Came here for this... "sunken lounge screams broken hip" in my old age... How about a few panels of glass to achieve safety and not compromise on the look?

Curious about the steel mesh screens. Are they for privacy, or is there rising crime in the area? I love modern, straightforward, warm design.

The houses featured are always quite nice and often remarkably nice. The film making is artistic but not once has it every allowed me to enjoy the home and really see what it’s about. Wish you could do it more like Never Too Small. Slow down and let us SEE rooms

Nice, but.....the A/C bill with that glass wall won't fly "here".
Vaulted ceilings are dramatic but I wonder about interior sound bouncing all around.
Only 3 person house though might mitigate that.
Like the sunken living room opening to garden

They missed the opportunity to use rougher stone instead of brick, or perhaps sandstone brick. No Finish modern wood burning stove. A lot of monotone yellow tint, though. Lots of birds are going into those windows. How does the roof shed rain. What about solar panels. Sliding steel grate in white does what. Glad they didn’t overdo the interior paint. There’s only so much Grey or olive paint a person can stand.
It took too long to build because there were conflicts in the timeline, I suspect.
    You can thank me later.

Planning, Sourcing materials, coordinating trades people, getting permits. Plus paying for it. Takes time. It's not a tv show it's real life.

Although beautiful, glass facades like this are the main culprit for billions of annual bird deaths. :(
