I wish more videos were like this - you are relaxed even when losing and don't tilt and you manage to give a real time analysis of not only your decisions, but also your opponent's, during the game. You even compliment your opponent and look at what they are doing right and wrong, which motivates me to have the right attitude when playing the game. I find I have more constructive sessions when I keep your advice in mind and I feel like you're coaching me in my head. Thank you so much
Thank you so much for the kind words! I'm really glad I've been able to share my process with you all and am happy to hear that it's been a positive influence for you as well. Keep up the good work!
Brand new Bryan player, and watching this has helped speed up the learning process a lot. Also really grateful for you vocalizing what's happening in your head and plays, helps me learn fundamental stuff too
*Taking notes* “start round by kicking opponent’s shins until they turn to dust, got it.” Jk great video, as a new Brian player it helps to have videos like this that teach a lot more than just combos
Thank you so much! Just don't forget to cash it in with our CH keepout once our opponent finally snaps and starts attacking more recklessly. Welcome to the Bryan family!
As one of the other comments have said great video because it doesn’t focus on just combos but it shows situations that set up for them beside honestly I just started playing Bryan because I follow knee and his Bryan is great lol
Hey I made it all the way to Raijin right along with you! But I'm hardstuck there. I'm really starting to feel everything Bryan lacks against these stronger characters. My defense isn't keeping up with the amount of rushdown forced 50/50s all of these strong characters have. Any tips?
Hey! I think while Bryan might demand more effort in order to come out on top in these situations, more d+4 and db+3, as well as spacing tools like 3+4, qcb+1 and orbital (all as close to max range as your movement can handle) is the answer. It's not really about finding new answers to the problem, but perfecting the tools that we already have. Good luck! I'm right there practicing with you!
Ty for this. Recently started playing Bryan (played DJ all of T7 and wanted to switch it up) and his game plan and play style have been really hard to adjust to and just wasn’t clicking, this has helped a lot. Maybe make a shorter video in the future compacting all the info?
Thank you for the feedback! Eventually I'll look into creating proper guides instead of the live demonstrations that my videos have been so far. I just need to learn how to script a video, cut scenes and other new editing skills, and dedicate some time separate from the live stream schedule, but it's on my wishlist as well. Thanks for the support!
17:24 - I haven't compared damage wise, but I saw that double-knee combo beginning in Starbreaker's ghost. For B1 CH combos I tend to do B2F4 and then B2-4 for double spin and then QCB1 for extension, and then 1+2-1 followed with UF22222-3. I can get 104 damage on it I think on walls with stages. If you've done both, which do you prefer and why?
I haven't added that combo to my repertoire yet but I do think that version is more optimal. I'd say the only real drawback to it is getting snake eyes with your ender and then wall splatting is a little trickier than doing b3, f2,1, and the spacing can workout against you more. But that being said, I think overall it's likely the better combo in most situations. I have it high on my list to learn so hopefully we can start seeing it more in future session. Thanks for watching!
@@vontiban you can do b21~24 as the screw instead of b24 qcb1 and get snake eyes for wall combo. This is my staple atm for b1 ch launch. You might have to step a bit to the right before you do b3-21 ender (I forgot cause I do it regardless of what combo I use)
Hi, i know its a late comment but i really appreciated your video. Even tho i’m a beginner, i wanted to learn Tekken the hard way, thats why i’m trying Bryan. Amazing content, big thanks for the help.
Exactly! That was the original idea when I only streamed two days, Saturday/Sunday. With the longer schedule, I'll figure out a way to keep that 50/50 distribution as much as I can.
Alotta kishin edging but we got there. Was worried for a second that i was going to start catching up to you. If i do I'll have to try to snipe you, it is the fighters way.
Thank you for the feedback! At this point I think I've balanced the game about as low as I can and am hitting the limits of my mic quality (it's not expensive). I'll see what I can do but it might just be I have to upgrade at this point.
We'll figure it out eventually! Definitely part of it is figuring out when and how to challenge his stances to prevent mixups and force more unsafe options. Thanks for watching!
In the absence of Peter, we have you. Thanks
I miss peter
I mean we could have both, eh? :P
Thank you so much! I miss his videos too!
I miss peter and jimmy j 😢
@@tahsinozdogan3505 jimmy j is back

Knee's Bryan is super entertaining to watch! I'm glad you found the video useful so far! Best of luck in the Bryan journey :)

Todays patch makes Bryan more consistent I can't wait
Omg me too! I'm so ready to stop side-switching after my wall combos!
Uf 3+4 gotta better hit box too supposedly
Lawfury has put out some new routes to use uf 3+4 check it out

Awesome thanks! I also think with the latest patch you can possibly replace qcb+1 with dash up uf3+4 as well, so I'll compare those options as well.

Welcome to the Bryan family! You're in for a long but awesome journey with the character, keep up the good work!
At battle ruler with Bryan, think this video will help ! Game plan practice is interesting.
Thanks for checking us out! Best of luck with your journey!
I’m Destroyer with Bryan. It’s a struggle for me, I think my reaction times on “Minus Frame” moves so I can punish them could use some work for sure.
Hey keep up the good work! There's so many things to improve on in this game so just pick one like punishment and go from there. Best of luck!
right side sundays? nah, every second day switch. better yet! left side sundays haha.

Absolutely welcome sniping on the ladder! Hue used to do it periodically all the time and take all my points but I always learned something :)
Lars players don't even know what they're spamming lmao
Haha thanks, we'll figure it out eventually though!
your volume is super low a lot
