- Flight Report: Kuwait to Bahrain on Kuwait Airways's Airbus A320-200 9K-AKJ, seat 15A - Emergency Exit Seat.
I was returning to Bahrain after my 24 hour trip in Kuwait. This was not the most pleasant experience with Kuwait Airways as it was first of all the old aircraft which actually had me worry a little bit as it looked and felt really old. To my feelings, as we were taxing to taking off, the captain announced that the aircraft has a technical error and we return back to a random stand where we stood waiting inside the plane with no option to leave for about 2 hours. The entire flight time from Kuwait to Bahrain took 3 hours 40 mins instead of just 40 mins. 3 additional hours of time wasted. We did not really get any updates to what the issue exactly was but after waiting 2 hours, it was rectified. Thankfully, we were offered water at first and then eventually after multiple complaints from everyone, we were offered food as you can see in the video. Overall, it was an interesting experience, I will still fly Kuwait Airways to try out their wide body long haul aircrafts.
