I think its fitting that Khorne's heavy infantry just dominates all the other factions in straight fights. When you're fighting Khorne, your strategy can't be to beat them in head-on melee combat.
There are basically almost immune to melee damage from their stat buffs and immune to flanking. No surprises. CA should try sticking 90% ward save on them next at this point 😂

Units need a purpose. If one unit is good against everything, then its not a good game design idea if its also the BEST against everything. Its kinda wild how many people apparently need to relearn, that specialized units should be the best in the very task they are specialized in.

The problem with the Krimson Killaz rework is that you kinda have to run every test three times with them to see if one of the stances is gonna make them better.

Those matchups are going into the fucking book! You literally send the biggest counter into irobreakers (huge armor and def, low melee) that can do shit against warmongers cause their high armor and melee defence. Not mention their armor pen and extremely hight melee attack. Then proceed sending glass-cannons high damage and low armor unit against hammerers - an armor-piercing anti-infantry. I dont think hammerers would win against warmongers but still had some performance. Iam pretty sure tho inronbrekers would smack bloodletters
Such 1 on 1 unit fights makes no sense. If you watch some worthy test, where there is 5 pairs on units fight, then you will see that there is a lot of random in the game, and under the same conditions, one unit can win in one of the pairs, and the opposite one in the other. That's why it is necessary to pit several pairs against each other in order to identify a pattern and the real stable advantage of one unit over another, not just one-time luck. Also you should check separately how units fight in defense, attack and counter-charge, not just in one of these cases. Since you have a friend with whom you can play battles, the above requirements shouldn't be difficult for you to implement, but in this case your videos will have a real benefit in understanding the balance of the game. While a simple clash of 1 unit against another can be performed by everyone on this one's own with a bot, yet this will not carry much weight anyway.
As they should be, every other faction in the game gets buffs, debuffs, ranged weapons and artillery. Khorne doesn't get any of that so if he's terrible in melee to something's not quite right.
They perform for their cost in a crash test like this. But I think the immune to flanking should be cut from the unit. They are a bit obnoxious to deal with since having 32 modelcount already makes a lot of common infantry counters like shooting and AoE damage spells ineffective against them. And unlike doomseekers they have armour so the chip damage is less of an issue.
That would be good, cuz now they do masacre in dom qm can easily wipe out few units, range aren’t problem cuz you have furies and other stuff right now
@FightHour i mean they won't be cut, not that they aren't strong. I just think they need to lose the immunity to flanking. But they cost a shit ton. They dont massive overpay for themselves. Yeah they kill a lot but everything ive seen is like max 400 gold more than their cost. And they can be targeted. And lose pretty hard to heavy focus fire, cannons also.
