Brilliant! Just tried it and it worked for the first time! THANK YOU. I used socks to glide easier over the floor...but I got the pinciple... will train it now... Fantastic explanation!

I think I had come to the same conclusion (bending the elbows soon after lifting), but I didn't realize that's what I was doing until I heard David say it and explai it. I just started feeling it during my practice. Now that I know, I hope I can feel it much more... doing the whole jump might take me years, but who cares? Still got my whole life to try it out.

Hey David! Love your videos. I just discovered them. I'm an advanced practitioner and was looking for a mentor online and found you. Hallelujah! You are a breath of fresh air in a stagnant yoga world where there's too much info to filter with all the crap around. Thank You Thank You Thank You. I'll be taking your tips and applying them to my practice x

This is so incredibly helpful. I have very short arms/unusually long torso and this actually gives me hope that I might be able to get it done.

at 4:30 David is saying 'commit forward' and his feet are behind his hands. And that if arms are straight up and feet aren't through, then that's too late. But the model and slow mo parts all include feet way out in front and arms fully straight before pivoting to pull the feet through. I'm here to learn, but I'm confused as to feet position during the lift.
