Very, very cool! I just learned about using sugar as a base for hollow beads and this is a very simple variation on that technique. This is so easy because you don't have to shape the sugar or let it dry. Thanks for sharing!
HOLY CRAP, I did not know you could do this, just showed a fellow artist friend this and she is so amazed by this. Gotta try this one out, thanks for posting this video.
You’re welcome. Veneer is a very fancy world that simply means a flat sheet of clay treated with some kind of surface effect 😉. The effect can be made with cane pattern, stamping etc. With veneers you can then decorate your base forms. In my tutorial, the beads at 3:31 are an example of stamped & painted veneer, 3:42 and 3:56 cane pattern and 3:48 mica shift. See here how Katie Oskin from Kater’s Acres explains it: th-cam.com/video/Qd_3q2sPCYc/w-d-xo.html Let me know if you have any further questions.
Thank you. All I can find where I live are those small sugar cubes called "dots." They are about 3/8" cubed (maybe a centimeter). So difficult for me to work with. I am going to keep looking for larger ones.
I'm not going to give you a thumbs down because I don't know if the video is good or not all I know is learn how to speak to your audience inkstop with a horrific music nobody wants to hear music we want to hear from the people that are creating there are not music that we probably do not like
Thank you for sharing your method! AND thank you for having great music, it was a welcome change.
