We visited IGATPURI in the month of September. The weather was pleasant but the waterfalls dint had enough water which somewhat disheartened us. So the best time to visit Igatpuri is the rainy season June to August.

-What are the stay options in the range of 1-1.5K per night?
-Is it a good idea to club Bhandardara alongwith Igatpuri;why or why not?
-For local sightseeing what are the travel options(bus/private cab/others)?
-Does it rain continously during the monsoon(July August),can mobility be a problem due to the rains?

We know a few stay options you may select any one or Google & search a place as per your range.
1. Mountain shadow resort : The rooms are clean and spacious with a beautiful view. Their food is to die for. Tariff : Rs.4k-5.5k
2. H2O villa with Infinity pool : The best villa with a perfect view for a group of 10 ppl. Tariff is 20k on weekdays & 25k on weekends. You need to book this asap if you wish to go it gets booked early.
3. Hotel Sai Palza : Good decent place. Tariff : Rs.1500 on weekday & 2k on weekends.
Yes if you have a car don't miss going to bhandardara. Visit umbrella & randha waterfall here.
For local sightseeing there are cars/taxis available they charge Rs.700-900 to cover all nearby tourist places. Buses don't go to all the places so it's better if you hire a rickshaw from the igatpuri railway station they charge Rs.350-450.
Yes it rains continuously there will be fog everywhere but you can enjoy this weather if you have a positive mindset. The choice is yours. You can visit here during August end or September start rains will be less comparative.

I am planning a trip to Igatpuri in mid of March, is it feasible enough to travel at this time of the year if my purpose for travelling is mostly videography and drone photography.
Its better if you travel in winter first month as igatpuri will look much green during that time.

Hi, there are no such options in Igatpuri.You can hire a rickshaw or else bring your own car
