There is no "weakest" vocalist in SPICA. They are all "good" to "great" to "mindblowing". I feel that SPICA is just one great catchy single away from hitting the top tier of girl groups.
You sure? I mean, that short hair girl seemed to have troubles, haven't heard more but on this song, she and the one in the middle seem..the weakest vocally.
The whole song builds to that point. I noted in another comment that when they have that little pause afterwards where Boa sings the tag line and the band nails the downbeat the whole song just explodes.
These girls always look the happiest in this type of live performance.They can sing their hearts out without the need of a dance routine that limits their vocals. True singers.

+ameni jegham Everyone in Mamamoo is above average. Spica averages from Average to Above Average. The strongest being Narae, Boa, and Bohyung. By no means in either group is anyone a bad singer or lacking at all. They both surpass many groups vocally, with just one person in each group.
Don't know what you may or may not know, but I follow everybody on Instagram. Narae and Bo-hyung both got married this year. At Bo-hyung's wedding reception they all got together and sung "Tonight" - a nice reminder. Narae has a cafe; Jiwon has been acting. I'm not sure what Sihyun does but she sure posts about food a-lot. LOL. Bo-hyung went to NYC for over a year to be in the "K-Pop" musical on Broadway. Only Boa is still actively involved in music - new song last week called "Trick - which I guess is not a surprise. She also makes jewelry. I sense that they are all happy.
After 7 years, I'm so happy that this amazing performance has finally reached a million views. I wish that SPICA appears to the recommendation sections of the people. They really deserve to be known.

Performers bring different things to the table than people who are "just" singers, which dampens the overall quality in vocal competition unfortunately.
Spica one of the most talented groups kpop has ever had, but korea wasn't prepared for such a talented group, and didn't know how to appreciate a great talent!!
I hope their company gives them songs like these ones, they can show off their singing and they all look so happy. I hope this show invites them a lot since all the covers were breathtaking. Break away was also amazing. Im just so happy. I wanted them to sing songs likethis. It just made my day.
Man it's been a while since I've seen this and all I can say is. They need to reevaluate who they consider the best vocalist in all of K-pop because EVERY member is no joke. And actually utilises technique to get the best and healthiest sound of their voices.

Woah I'm so surprised by Jiwon like- I thought she was the 'least talented' and is given lesser lines compared to the others but I can see that she's really good c: im glad she was given a chance to shine cuz I wouldn't have known she was this awesome if she didn't get to sing those parts
I feel that Jiwon tends to be under-rated in terms of talent just because she's stuck with the role of "visual" in SPICA and the trend is for visuals in K-Pop to be poor singers. People need to understand that SPICA is essentially a group made up of all lead/main vocal-level talent and Yang Jiwon just happened to be a lead singer pretty enough to be a visual so she got stuck with the "curse" of being designated as visual.
I agree at the part where you say visuals are stuck with being the somewhat untalented pretty one, but I don't think she's under-rated because of that?? I mean, from my perspective, I thought she was a little less talented because 1. Lesser lines. Especially in their debut days. I thought joohyun was way better at singing because she got to show her singing skills in Painkiller, while Jiwon was stuck with those short lines in the chorus. 2. Suitable parts. I don't like the parts she's given in songs. Maybe because it doesn't exactly show her talent, and her voice didn't suit those parts. 3. Same part as the other members. Like tonight, she sang that chorus line, and almost everyone got the same part, so her voice was obviously compared with Narae, Bohyung and Boa. And I don't think her voice suited that part too lol
natnut2008 No, JuHyun is a visual of SPICA. (JuHyun with long hair is no joke.) Jiwon is a main dancer and vocalist. Jiwon is really good at singing tho but the rest are a monster singer. that's why she looks under-rated. If we comepare her with other IDOLS. She can be a lead vocalist in some group.

Suraya Akbar joohyun is gorgeous asf. man. even with short hair. oh man. her eyes are just. x_x so good. honestly every one in spica are so good at vocals, and the standard just gets higher with every member. that flexibility with chords and harmonies tho. oh man. fifth harmony fans have to see this.

I'm so glad she was able to showcase her vocals with various lines throughout the song . Everyone as usual did an amazing job- #B2M please please please give them powerhouse song. You Don't Love Me, did a great job in gaining attention to their group; now please release the works!!!

Why do people coment on how good other groups or singers are on a song covered by Spica? Rude! If you have nothing good to say, then be quiet. Negative comments are best left unspoken. With that said, Spica is the most talented group vocally in Kpop. Who else can just stand there and sing? You need to be able to sing in order to do just that. Secondly, Nobody sings better than Bohyung. To say otherwise, one must be deaf. Her cover of "Let it Go" was the best anywhere, period! Lot of people can sing, some can even sing well. Then there are those with the gift, the gift of song. I believe Bohyung had that gift. Bohyung......fighting!!!

저평가고 뭐고 그냥 평가 자체가 없는 인지도인데.. 이젠 많이 뜨자
스피카에서 개인적으로 몇몇 멤버보다 양지원 보컬이 훨씬 안정되고 듣기 좋았어요.. 기본기 탄탄하고 듣기 좋은 보컬인데, 스피카 활동 때 파트가 적어서 너무 아쉬움
양지원이 아니라 저 중에서는 박시현이 제일 딸리... 아, 아닙니다.

I feel that Jiwon tends to be under-rated in terms of talent just because she's stuck with the role of "visual" in SPICA and the trend is for visuals in K-Pop to be poor singers. People need to understand that SPICA is essentially a group made up of all lead/main vocal-level talent and Yang Jiwon just happened to be a lead singer pretty enough to be a visual so she got stuck with the "curse" of being designated as visual.
I agree at the part where you say visuals are stuck with being the somewhat untalented pretty one, but I don't think she's under-rated because of that?? I mean, from my perspective, I thought she was a little less talented because 1. Lesser lines. Especially in their debut days. I thought joohyun was way better at singing because she got to show her singing skills in Painkiller, while Jiwon was stuck with those short lines in the chorus. 2. Suitable parts. I don't like the parts she's given in songs. Maybe because it doesn't exactly show her talent, and her voice didn't suit those parts. 3. Same part as the other members. Like tonight, she sang that chorus line, and almost everyone got the same part, so her voice was obviously compared with Narae, Bohyung and Boa. And I don't think her voice suited that part too lol

Jiwon is really good at singing tho but the rest are a monster singer. that's why she looks under-rated.

Suraya Akbar joohyun is gorgeous asf. man. even with short hair. oh man. her eyes are just. x_x so good. honestly every one in spica are so good at vocals, and the standard just gets higher with every member. that flexibility with chords and harmonies tho. oh man. fifth harmony fans have to see this.

I'm so glad she was able to showcase her vocals with various lines throughout the song . Everyone as usual did an amazing job- #B2M please please please give them powerhouse song. You Don't Love Me, did a great job in gaining attention to their group; now please release the works!!!

Why do people coment on how good other groups or singers are on a song covered by Spica? Rude! If you have nothing good to say, then be quiet. Negative comments are best left unspoken. With that said, Spica is the most talented group vocally in Kpop. Who else can just stand there and sing? You need to be able to sing in order to do just that. Secondly, Nobody sings better than Bohyung. To say otherwise, one must be deaf. Her cover of "Let it Go" was the best anywhere, period! Lot of people can sing, some can even sing well. Then there are those with the gift, the gift of song. I believe Bohyung had that gift. Bohyung......fighting!!!
