Hi Marie. I got all my seed, water bottle and tray. I started my seeds today after soaking them. I'm so excited about them. For now I'm going to do just 4 days. Have to try it. Next time I will do the other. Keep thumbs for me. Thank you for this great video 😁💐
a great video thanks marie i have soaked the fenugreek seeds for microgreens,, just now, and typing this. will update the end result. i am sure the results will be very positive. thank you for such a detailed and step by step tutorial keep up the good work
I did it! I have successfully grown Broccoli Microgreens following your tutorial. I was so nervous but they turn out great. Can't wait to use them for sandwiches tomorrow. Thank you again for this video. I have pics in both my community post and Instagram if you're interested. Have a great week 😍😍
Thank you for those fantastic pictures. I'm so happy it worked out for you. I'm also looking forward to seeing your new upload tomorrow. I wish you both a wonderful week too.
This is such an amazing process with very informative technique how to grow micro green at home! They grow beautifully in beautiful green color! Super healthy...I really like the way you clean it using strainer to scoop the seeds out and using scissors to cut them it’s a great idea! Harvest time is very exciting moments..thanks so much for sharing your amazing video with us here! Big 13like 👍have a wonderful day dear!❤️😍🤗
Excellent and informative video Thank You 🙏 my broccoli sprout seeds arrive today ! I made a grow tray from recycled restaurant carry out containers. ❤
*It is a very good step of growing vegetables.I used to grow a lot of microgreens, especially broccoli greens, they are so healthy! That was amazing! It would be nice to be able to have fresh sprouts whenever we want to!Thank you so much for this informative and beautiful video! Thanks for this perfect video.Very well explained and no detail is missing.Very good idea to show us that doing microgreens with brocoli is possible.Great idea Marie ! ❤️❤️❤️😘*
This sounds much better than the "Ball" canning jar method. I hate my tap water so I won't use it for rinsing the seeds twice a day. A lot of bottled or filtered water!!!! The trays and food are already ordered and a thumbs up for the seemingly better water saving technique!!! (I'll know how to get back here in a few weeks and I will report on just how much better this method really is)!!!
Thank you for this clear detailed video. I did think some of the root hairs were mold. It is good to know only 6-8 hours of light is needed. Now subscribed ! I look forward to seeing more of your straightforward tutorials. !!!
Just a recommendation to you: instead of soaking the seeds, lightly spray a bamboo paper towel (cut to fit the tray) and sprinkle the dry seeds evenly. The moist paper towel will keep them in place. Then spray lightly a few times a day. Just an alternate up to around 2:30 in the video
@@FineArtofCooking I like it because the seeds grow right through it and seem to cling to the fibers in the bamboo mat. Also when you are ready to harvest you can pull the entire mat, with the sprouts up and cut them evenly. You can even pull them straight from the mat and still eat the roots. Have fun!
Hi! What kind of bamboo paper towels - the reusable kind? Also, do you know if the sprouts can regrow once or twice after cutting them above the root? Thanks!
@@optobeagle hello yes I think it's labeled the reusable kind. It's on a roll just like paper towels. Once the sprouts grow you cannot re cut them. They are packed full of nutrition and you want to snip them on the stems so you have the entire sprout to eat. They are very quick and easy Hope you enjoy making them.
Like#47 This was a really fun video to watch Marie. Some people like to put this in their Bibimbab as well. I like the matching green. You wear it very nice. Another nice video. Thank you.
Thank you for this very good video. I have two questions. 1- If we don't use extra bowl or sth for the water below, is it still ok to cover the top against the light, or will there be mold? 2- I want to grow broccoli sprouts for my reflux, nausea and other stomach problems. How many days should pass before hervesting for the best, max benefit? thank you.
I wanna grow brocolli sprouts too! Very very detailed guide on how to do it in our own home. Thank you so much for this information and detailed guide.
That was amazing! My 10-year-old daughter is always growing things around the house. She has a few germination bags going on right now. We watched this video together and she is very excited to try this! It would be nice to be able to have fresh sprouts whenever we want to! Thank you so much for this informative and beautiful video! 💕
That is awesome! I'm so glad to hear your daughter likes to grow things. She would have a blast growing these and able to eat them later. Thanks for watching!
Do you keep the light blocked out the entire 5 days. Minus watering? Cuz mine didn't get any color (besides yellow )and its day 5. I will expose to light and bottom watering today
@Kube Dog Is Back when you say last day, do you mean harvest day? Also are you saying during the sprouting and growth periods you didn't cover it? You left it out since it's darker in your house? Thanks for replying
@Kube Dog Is Back Thank you for explaining. That will be really useful in the future. I used paper towel as my medium on my first microgreens attempt (which is ongoing). There is a smell, im wondering if i put too much water. Right now im using a two prong usb plant light and they seem to be turning green. But idk about the smell.
İt looks very efficient than other methods that i ve seen.i couldnt find a germinating tray exactly you have but i created similar one😊 ,im going to try and share the results. thanks for the video ❤
Hi! What's the difference between the broccoli sprouts seeds and the regular broccoli seeds? I thought broccoli sprouts were just very young broccoli plants.
Both sprouting and regular seed are inherently the same and produce the same variety of plants. However, certain seeds are better suited for sprouting because of their short germination period. In addition, sprouting seeds are not chemically treated or modified and are safe for consumption.
Thanks for sharing your experience of using sprouting tray. I notice that you switched the green tray to the bottom starting on day 3. I am curious if you put any water inside the green tray starting on day 3.
Excellent video. Can you post how we can purchase the trays a d materials you used to grow rge broccoli sprouts, pls? I have used the big Mason jars, but they don't give me the same results Thanks
Thank you for sharing your video. My broccoli sprouts won't grow even though I have followed all the steps. Is it because of the type of seed I bought?
