Ostuni-Gallipoli-Monopoli-Polignano a Mare-Fasano-Lecce-Brindisi is my favourite triangle in puglia. Beautiful beaches, great food and drinks all provided by people that know how to live very close to heaven, while firmly rooted to their home soil.

@@msjannd4 hi, very wrong... summer is the season in which this region shines the most. From being able to enjoy its magnificent beaches to the fact that fairs and festivals are organised. In winter the area is a bit dead, the climate is wintry and several attractions/places may be closed as it would be off season. I recommend June or September if you were trying to avoid the crowds and high temperatures of August. My ideal period, being Italian, is still the end of July and the beginning of August
I think you just have to be lucky sometimes maybe one week might be busier than the next -

If you visit the old town in Monopoli I recommend the little food shop owned by the ‘Pacello’ family (I think it says Pacello above the door and it is in Via Barbacana). All of the foods are made with local ingredients from Puglia. I bought orecchiette (pasta) and Pate di cime di rape - really delicious and excellent quality. I highly recommend❤

South italy it is the work force of the center and North ITALY : i was of Naples, a city future less, but center north italy they are very richs. They are razist with we of the South ,😅😅
