- This is the 10th video in a series of videos chronicling my free wheeling cross country trip on my GL1800 Goldwing through the north western and western United States. In this episode, I leave Crazy Horse memorial and ride over to Devils Tower KOA were I set up Camp.

I did that in 1993 so beautiful place to guys are arrested for trying to scale. The tower is kind of fun watching that I have and I love the ride. Be safe.

I like your videos but I don't think the most sophisticated software on earth could understand you with that insane accent. My wife and I actually catch humor how thick eastern accents are and I had a 2004 goldwing until recently. I traded it in on a KTM 890R getting up in the years and thought I wanted to actually have some fun. The goldwing to me was a soul sucking horrid thing sounded like a sewing machine heavy as a battleship was just my choice. If I can find someone from the east coast that can pronounce A as A and not R im involved. Good job even if I need a translator:)

Yes i do. The wing and i are really itching to get back on the road and eat miles. 2020 for me was a bust. 2021 will depend on work obligations.🤞

It was amazing.
I see that it was quite warm in first week of Sept., how cool did it get at night in your tent?
That night it got into the mid 40's. It was my last warm night camping. The weather progressively got colder the further west I went.
Enjoying immensely your cross-country adventures from 2019 .... I have a question, out there on your own, primitive camping and such, do you carry/recommend any type of weapons with you?
I did initally give some thought on a hand gun but it would have been a complication state to state. So planned on carrying bear spray and hunting knife. For whatever reason every sporting good store around me was sold out before i left. I managed to get some at Yellowstone after a restless night lol. thanks for watching
I see you used a GoPro how did you set up the microphone for your ride very nice!
Hi thanks. For this trip I used the Sena GP10 connected to my Hero4. Worked great!. Today I use a miconnected directly to my osmo action helmet camera , but I still use the GP10 and the 4 for group rides as it works perfectly to capture all riders.
Hope this crisis is over by Sept 2020, I want to do exactly same trip first week of Sept. (riding from Vegas), want to camp at Devils Tower, and also hit Mt.Rushmore. But no time to do Yellowstone.
Same here. If you do Rushmore, you should check out Crazy Horse also. Some amazing riding in the area. Needles hwy etc...
You should try REVER if you haven't already. Super cool app for motorcyclists.
Yes it is. I recently subscribed to Rever to get the butler maps. That will play into my 2021 season for sure.
