This mega video series should be extra exciting, because there's four The Room games, each game is better than the previous, and the third and fourth game have never been edited before on this channel! Games 1 and 2 are still getting re-edited, as shown here and the next mega video, and they should be much better watches than the original videos. Plus, I assume you'll all want to catch up on The Room 1 & 2 before seeing 3 & 4.
Man, I flipping live The Room 1. Yes, the following games got a massive upgrade in puzzles, scale, and visual spectacle, but there is something truly magical about focusing on this ONE box and seeing it continue to surprise you, always staying one step ahead. It gave me such a huge sense of accomplishment every time I finished a chapter, watching the box transform and find some new way to twist and contort my expectations. It even comes with a decently chilling story and a top notch hint system that needed zero updates as more games were added to the series. Absolutely brilliant game that EVERYONE should play.
The Room series is so good! I've played every single game in the series, including the VR entry, and every time, it always has something new or exciting to find.
My fave is the 3rd followed by 4, but I get what you mean. I'd say the least interesting was probably 2 (note: still not bad but the least good). Tho I haven't played VR because I don't have VR. Honestly, I love this series. I replayed them so many times I can speedrun most of them. Hopefully we'll get more chapters soon, and hopefully not for VR. (I'm still hoping the VR one gets a no-headset version.)
I’ve played 1, 3 and Old Sins (I think this one is 4 right?) I least liked 3, and Old Sins was amazing! I can’t actually remember why I didn’t like 3, I think it was the map puzzle being to confusing for my small brain to comprehend Old Sins was just good, the rooms interacting with each other and that garden puzzle
Whoever made this is absolutely insane with making puzzles, it’s mesmerizing how fluidly everything goes together. Thanks for showing this, I’ll be playing the series myself now. You’re the man Tyler.
The room series is the reason I started watching aliensrock in the first place, this is the best playthrough of it on youtube. Super stoked to see it again.
Got this game years ago and never had any help, sulked, stamped feet and stuff throughout.😅 Brilliantly put together game and certainly eases you into THINKING for yourself. Great walk through
@@zackbuildit88 The Room Three is my favourite. I liked Old Sins too, but it was too short. VR blew me away at first but it was too easy and short as well.
I don’t think the 2nd puzzlebox could exist thanks to physics, but I think the 1st and 3rd could definitely exist, I mean we have seen things that change form different prespectives, thanks to the lens of Argus, but puzzle box two is imposdible cause the main puzzle box contains three equal sized puzzle boxes, that are about as big as it, and plus it’s supposed to open at the end, but the 3rd and 4th one at least seems possible at a bigger size with maybe a bit of puzzle trickery, three is mostly possible until it start spawning objects, and changing the top, well the new puzzle box couldn’t teleport us to it, but we could have it as a sperate puzzle box, but puzzle box 4 seems the most possible out of the three werid ones, and the 1st one can easily work in real life.
What an absolute beauty of a game, those smooth animations, the amount of detail to every nook and cranny. The programming must have taken so long. Holy shit!
I absolutely love this game. I played 1-4 many times i have also played the vr game which adds to the lore. And when I was bored of other games I hop on my switch and speed run the first game all the way through just to see how fast I could do it and see how much I memorize
This looks exactly like a game called Doors by Paradox. i thought it was the same game at first, lol. This looks fun though, i find myself growing in desire to play puzzle games lately. the traditional RPG and such is kind of growing old on me and tend to have no satisfaction if solving problems anymore these days like puzzle games do. I think AAA game devs always target an audience of 5+ years old being able to play their games which completely voids logical challenges in modern gaming sadly and instead often ends up being a mindless slog.
He tried the VR version, but unfortunately VR doesn't translate well to yt viewing. It depends almost solely on how still you can keep your head, so he only made one episode.
23:23 You lucked out on that one. Inside the tube with the small key is a photograph; on the back, the eyepiece reveals "REV 6:05." "And when he had opened the third seal, I heard the third beast say, Come and see. And I beheld, and lo a black horse; and he that sat on him had a pair of balances in his hand." --Revelation 6:5, King James Version
i remember when i bought this game for my phone back when i was in school. I loved the series soooo much and couldnt wait for the sequels to come out, checking the play store every now and then. I also tried the vr game and its pretty good but my performance was ass back then.
I feel like the editing is quite confusing, sometimes we see Tyler have a realization but we don’t see the first element like at 37:40 “oh that looks like the puzzle I’ve been staring at the entire time!” But it’s the first time we even know about that specific puzzle. Same with the star on the top of the box. This can make it confusing following the logic and puzzles. Otherwise love the video as always!
Played through all The Room games except for The Room VR. It's a great series. The Room starts it all and while flawed, it is a great game. The Room 2 overcorrects flaws of the first game and while it's still a good game it's imo the weakest in the series. The Room 3 synthesizes the best parts of first two games and creates far better experience. The Room Old Sins somehow improves even on Room 3 making it the best in the series.
Old Sins is absolutely genius. The one thing the original room had over every other game in the series was the sheer wonder of unraveling a single box and watching it change as you poked at it. Old sins brings that back by putting everything in a dollhouse, yet also has all the best parts of The Room 3 on top of that. Not to mention the absolutely stellar story whose ending is one of the scariest and saddest things I've ever witnessed.
I am really looking forward to the other videos. I‘ve played the games myself before but it‘s just a different feeling watching a pro (and seeing him struggle too)
Idk if he ever did it, but It'd be awesome to see him complete the The Room VR!! It wasn't super long, but it would be the most physically involved he's ever been in a puzzle before!
Man I loved these games, but can't for the life of me remember how far I got in the series. Might give it a few weeks to forget your solutions and then start again from the beginning :)
I actually played the first "the room" game back on the family iPad when I was younger, and I really enjoyed the puzzles in these games, I really enjoyed the third puzzle box actually I really thought it was neat.
Tyler I dont know if you know this but there are actually 5 games, the thing is one of them is exclusive to VR. I dont know if you have a VR device but if you could record the VR one too I would be very happy
Have you played The House of Da Vinci. It is similar game with great atmosphere and I think you could enjoy it. Either way this was a great video. Thank you for the content you provide.
Hopefully he goes back to VR… he got to the church and then just never resumed playing. I wanted to keep playing so bad after finishing that I mapped out a speedrun route (for the first time in my life)

I completed the whole series
Niiice!
A great way to refresh our mwmories before the sequels
I love those megavideos, thanks for all the work reinvested into these old footage
Loving the series. Can't wait for the pegging tyler mega video.
Boxes lost fragments you might like

Check a game called Hob. It's a zeldalike that its world feels like a puzzle box
kinda loving these re-releases of old series because they give me something to binge in the background while im doing work
yeah, I hope the next one is the mistery of the golden idol, thats a good background series
yeah I actually love the format. nice lengthy videos too which is nice
@@FERNANDO-ro7nyI loved watching that game
the fact you had the correct time at the time of the clock puzzle is insane
Made me laugh a good bit.
was it just a coincidence?

Wow! I’m in a room right now.
Crazy to think about.
As long as it's only one room and doesn't suddenly turn into a labyrinth, you should be fine.
"Yooo he's playing the room"
"Wait, didn't he already play it?"
"No, wait, the editing thing, right"
putting in 6:03 was just a coincidence lmaoooo
Where was the actual clue for that??
@@berni_schmorg the photo he got given was in the metal tube he got the key from, and had the time on it.
The same thing happened in an inscryption playthrough I saw, I don't remember if it was Tyler's or someone else
The Room VR game has been a blast. The physicality of it isn't quite to IRL escape room level but still definitely the best you can do from home.
Got this game years ago and never had any help, sulked, stamped feet and stuff throughout.😅
Brilliantly put together game and certainly eases you into THINKING for yourself.
Great walk through
broooo im ngl i didnt even realize this was a series i bought the first two games when they came out and then forgot about em. this is sick
I'd like to point out that the room vr is also canon to the series and a playthrough of that on this channel would be a fun watch
I remember watching the VODs of you playing the last two games, it was a super enjoyable series.
This is the best puzzle series I’ve ever played, and it, alongside Myst, were keystones to my childhood. Magic
I cannot express how much i love this series of games. Every single one of them.
Fav puzzle of the series?
@@zackbuildit88 The Room Three is my favourite. I liked Old Sins too, but it was too short. VR blew me away at first but it was too easy and short as well.
I am the only one to get the urge to watch his potion craft series when the mill element came up
my favorite ever game of this style is the rusty lake series. it just has such a unique charm with its special brand of eerie
agreed
I got the whole series for like 10$ when it was on sale and finished em all in a week. Great little puzzle series, and more than worthwhile
Try "brainkilled", its much more simple but lets see if you can finish it in a week🙃
bro was blessed by the god of time when he hit that clock!

Oooh, a lovely series to get mega episoded! Can't wait to see your approaches to the latter two games once they hit the channel.
38:45 I really want a 16th Century globe like that.
HE’S DOING ITT!!! I’VE BEEN WAITING FOR SO LONG
I loved playing this game when it came out! The whole series is very fun. Highly recommend!
I love The Room series. I hope we get another one soon. Or maybe another VR game. I loved the story in the background of the games.
Eyyy The Room! I recently showed these games to a few friends and family. What a coincidence to see you bring it back again for a re-editing!
Ah. This classic! I have the whole collection on my tablet.
Oh I was hoping to see The Room series redone!! Super excited to watch through them again!
This upload caught me by surprise. Haven’t played the 4th game but man has the first 3 been amazing
@9:55
To anyone wondering if the 4 glyphs puzzle on the second box was supposed to be brute forced: no, no it was not.

The room is one of my favorite puzzle games and I've been watching Tyler since Bloons and somehow never knew he ever played this
I believe I missed Tyler's first playthrough of this series, because I have no recollection of this game. Was really great to watch!

I was just thinking about playing this beautiful series again (I played it as a child) and suddenly THIS VIDEO DROPS. What a coincidence!
I'm so happy about this, and super excited for the 3 & 4 videos!

I love the room series, always great to see someone else play it.
why is the piano sounding like the box from cod zombies
I remember watching you play these on livestream before! The Room is absolutely one of my favorite puzzle game series :D
I honestly don't know if I've watched this but I love The Room series
puzzle box games like these remind me how much i want to commission a puzzle box for myself in the future
I found the room vr first, and wondered why it was so polished, then I found out it's thew 5th in the series of mobile games.

I am SO looking forward to seeing the rest of these games, I'm a sucker for a puzzle box
I was just thinking that I hope The Room is the series Tyler re-releases next. One of my favourite series and one of my favourite games.
Man I loved these games, but can't for the life of me remember how far I got in the series. Might give it a few weeks to forget your solutions and then start again from the beginning :)

This brings back memories of Summers in France where we would play this and its sequels nice

finally, a mega video I haven't binge-watched during his hiatus! hallelujah!
Man FINALLY found the series
I played this as a kid so this is hella nostalgic
Damn I played the whole series on a old phone, good all memories.
The intro is SO EPIC! Love it!
I legit forgot Tyler was doing these Mega uploads and was like: this looks interesting… wait i’ve seen this before… oh it’s the Mega upload
technically, there's 5 The Room games, but the 5th game is VR only (still worth playing)
The red curtains, what a throwback
This game seems like it would be amazing in VR
Incredible Game Series. If you want even morgen gameplay of this Kind, you may play the "The House of DaVinci " Series
never have I been so happy to see a red curtain
The Room is a great series of games, I'm excited to see you work your way through it.
Edit: Ah it was an edit, missed that until the end lul
Great video 👍
this brought back a lot of memories
Have you played The House of Da Vinci. It is similar game with great atmosphere and I think you could enjoy it.
Either way this was a great video. Thank you for the content you provide.
oh man I missed our boy Tyler's comeback, hello king 💪🏻
Something about doing a puzzle and the letter L appearing from it is funny to me
Tyler randomly put green, yellow and blue gems and solve it first try
Actually one of the goated mobile games ever.
@Aliensrock Lunarch Studios just announced their "closure" on twitter. Or something very similar at least
This is very similar to another puzzle-box game titled, Boxes. Still really cool though!
yo its the room. ive got 100% achievements in the room 1, 2 and 3
Hopefully he goes back to VR… he got to the church and then just never resumed playing. I wanted to keep playing so bad after finishing that I mapped out a speedrun route (for the first time in my life)
I have been WAITING for this video
have you ever played the escape room game "between time"?. if not I really recommend it.
As others have said, there is a 5th, but you need to use VR to play it
What did you find at 20:55😅
I was like "WHAT he never played this before?" and then I read the pinned comment lol
