    QUESTION - Have a question about how to run your clothing brand? Post in comments section of this video!
    About This Video:
    In this video, Rob talks about how to take your print on demand (POD) or inventory based clothing brand from stagnancy to massive growth very quickly. This helped my startup clothing line generate 4X more sales. Growing a private label clothing brand or t shirt business requires an investment. It wasn't until I removed my ego and invested into Facebook Ads, Instagram Ads, and TikTok Ads that my brand tripled in size overnight. Social media marketing using purely guerrilla marketing strategies stunted my brands growth for close to 3 years. If I had known the opportunity that existed in running Facebook Ads, Instagram Ads, and TikTok Ads - I would have been way further along my journey much sooner. This info applies to all clothing brands, clothing lines, t shirt businesses, print on demand (POD), fashion brands, streetwear brands, dropshipping and beyond!

    I want to make it clear that if you decide to NOT spend money on advertising that is totally COOL. This is my experience. If you are extra talented at social and creating enough viral content regularly to generate thousands of dollars worth of orders consistently then that's amazing. That said, even IF you are killing it with organic content you'd likely STILL be able to take your brand to ANOTHER level by introducing advertising at the same time. There's a great quote by Henry Ford that I think goes very well with this video which is, "The man who stops advertising to save money, is like the man who stops a clock to save time." I hope you enjoyed the video! More coming soon. - Rob

    Good stuff man. I started ads early and never looked back. Fastest way to scale and get results. Ads pay for themselves instantly if executed properly.

    Watched this, decided to set up 3 ads, almost instantly made a sale! Had always been wary of ads since I hired a marketing company and they basically ripped me off with £750 in ads, £750 in fees and made 1 sale. Thanks for the video Rob!

    The way you said you said you felt about ads (referring to losing your ego and changing your approach) I’m feeling this way now about networking and meeting vendors at the start of my business instead of buying equipment to do it myself to save money

    Rob, it's good to know that you don't have to spend money on ads unless you really want to. When I launch my business, I will definitely try out these methods first. Thanks

    Nice insights. What would be more beneficial is describing what kind of ads worked for you. And targeting? Was it interest targeting or lookalike audiences? What kind of ad objectives worked best, what kind of results (ROAS) did you see? Like a case study.
    I know everyone's would be different, but these kinds of metrics and insights are beneficial in seeing the potential you are try9ing to describe

      For FB/IG ads, always go for conversion ads if you’re looking for conversions. Recently, broad audience targeting has been working well. Test different creatives (static images and video) and give the algorithm time to learn who will buy from your brand.

    I love your videos. In terms of ads I would say its important to see the ROAS return on ad spend otherwise its like pouring money down the drain. If i spend $100 on ads, I expect to see $200 come back to me (and so forth). Instead of hearing crickets. I love how the term used is 'invest' in ads. Woukd you continue investing in something that's losing you money?

    • @ApparelSuccess
      @ApparelSuccess  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I agree with you and I do monitor the ROAS closely. However, the tracking through FB ads isn’t as accurate anymore due to the IOS updates. So we do our best to look at the ROAS and scale that way - but have to account for slight tracking inaccuracy.

    This might not apply, seeing you are in Canada, but how do you view influencers who are college students? In The US, it is now allowed to have collegiate athletes gain revenue for their likeliness. Kind of like how MJ was paid from Nike for his likeliness. I'd like to hire some collegiate athletes for influencing. Any thoughts? Know anyone in the US paying college athletes as influencers? TIA.

    Hi Rob, I am really interested in your marketing course however, I am wondering if with that, there will be any way to contact you with questions outside of the marketing? I am sure the marketing lessons will be valuable, but I have a lot of questions surrounding shipping and all things alike. Thanks for all you provide!

    Gary Vee really led some people the wrong way. IMO Ads first, you can also get followers and emails as well. Then you can post more on social media to those same people.
