Honestly? I’m not a fan of a lot of the aesthetic choices Hasbro made with the RYV Spider-Man (2010s eyes, huge spider symbol on the chest, and dark blue for the costume), but this is undoubtedly the best engineered Spider-Man Hasbro has ever made. I hope they reuse this body for other Spider-Man figures in the future.
Can’t wait to get my hands on these figures. Unfortunately, they don’t release until November/December in the United States!
Not sure too much on that, because Entertainment Earth says a release date for October 2022

I'm glad for you,Dave. Both ML 2 packs look "amazing". Spider-man is looking"spectacular" as well as Knull and Venom. It sucks that preorders won't be released until December but patience is a virtue. Looking forward to the reviews.

Dave it absolutely burned my ears to hear you say you are going to sell Knull. I love every symbiot especially the god of symbiots. I would strongly sagest to keep him for your life foundation display.

I think December is a placeholder date since I've seen multiple folks getting theirs already. I pre-ordered Black Series Obi-Wan Vader from BBTS, which was listed for December, yet it's in my Pile of Loot as we speak.
Maybe you could put some tendrils in the holes of Venom to fill it out. They definitely should have put holes on Knull as well. I’m probably gonna have to 3D model some accessories for them.

I like the new inside of the box because you don’t have to be frustrated taking the tray out of the box and loosing the accessories from the plastic making the accessories go flying when you pop them out

Ooh that Venom pack looks so good. This and them at SDCC sold me on them. Although I can totally see us getting singular releases of them in the future of Knull with wings and regular venom.
Edit: Im surprised that Knull doesn’t have the ports as well as then you could use the wings there

I’m not getting the renew your vows pack. That one Spider-Man figure isn’t worth 55 dollars to me since I don’t really care about spinneret. Knull and venom are a totally different story. I can wait for a different Spider-Man. Heck, hasbro might rerelease that Spider-Man figure for people like me. I’d definitely buy it by itself

I'm happy that you were able to get these figures with no issues. That's also a good way to look at the Venom toes. Yes, it's not accurate to the King in Black run, but Venom has indeed looked big and monstrous with toes in the comics before (many statues do this with him, as well), so using the Movie Venom mold is a great move. It's certainly lazy that Hasbro didn't fix the feet for accuracy, but like I said: If you view this Venom outside of King in Black, then it works. Not ideal, given what the figure's based on, but he's still a great Venom in general.

I love the venom knull and spidey. Spinnerette is nice but meh. You can get some black plugs for venoms back if the holes bother you and you dont wanna use the wings. I was thinking either silicone or 3D print or something

Damn, its $150 on the retail market to get a plain spiderman and venom. Im glad they are available and i ordered em both but it would have been nice if they were single release figures.
I would have much rather payed 30 for spidey and 40 for venom without having to get knull and spinnerette.
funny but true file : "Head Batman" style has been done... i.e. Peter Gabriel from Genesis did this in the later 1970's ( cover of the 'Live' album ). lol

God that, venom...he looks perfect. I don't even care about the two craters in his back, he just looks like how I envision Venom. Not that interested in the Spider-man/Spinneret two pack tbh but they look pretty good. Thing is with Knull is that while he looks quite good, I personally think that he would've worked better as a deluxe figure, Just give him the wings, the sword, the extra head and some extra hands (maybe some symbiotic effects) and some more paint apps and then sell him separately for say, $45, (unless that's too much?) Still, a decent pair of two packs anyway and I would buy the Knull/Venom two pack immediately given the chance. Also Dave, I know you said that after Scorpion and Lizard you were done with your Spider-man collection (and also Chameleon) buy are you going to get the Mr Negative 2 pack? Just curious. Great video anyway.
Love Venom but them wings throw him off balance lol he's fine one second then I walk into another room and hear SPLAT lol. Now have him Displayed with Wings down to they are helping him stand :P Also the King in Black err dark grey/brown maybe hehe. On Spider-Man mine has some white spots on his belly and She has seam lines on her right leg :S

On what not I got a steal of a deal I got venom with the wings the all teeth face and the tongue face from the 3 pack with it too! For 30 bucks

Would’ve preferred Hasbro using the retro spidey wider hip for the ryv spidey… or simply removed the drop down hip. Something just doesn’t feel right whenever I did a front kick with ryv spidey… the engineering of the drop down hip and the hip placement kinda push hip downwards each time I do so making it seems like ryv spidey had a jimmy leg, All in all it’s an anazing figure aesthetics wise… but the articulation on the hip… could’ve been better..
The only thing I dont get how knull has the spider type logo but Spider-Man was the reason venom got it right?
It actually turns out that design is a Symbiote dragon. It’s only coincidence that it looks like a spider.
I would really like to see more appearances of Headbatman please! I'm not the only one laughing at it here, my wife enjoyed that joke a lot lol so I'd definitely like to see Headbatman to make more surprise appearances and for you to keep the wings for that reason lol Haha, there is even a Headbatman in Re-Animator.
So I don't know. If you haven't made the Venom review yet, can you bring up the other versions of Venom in the review and show the images and maybe a picture of all three of them together or an image from someone setting the versions up together? I'd even go so far as to set up the Diamond Select versions with it and whatever else.
I have the movie Venom. I think I liked the way the animated version's body looked but I didn't like the dual blue and red paint thing. If you can also show images of the Capcom Venom and other game Venoms, comic Venoms and old Venom figures, the deluxe, older Marvel Legends, even really old and smaller Toybiz, I'd love to see a full comparison of basically every Venom, how it looks in comics sometimes old and new, various artists versions, I'd like to see which is my favorite.
I liked the shape of the small Hasbro 3.75 inch retro or vintage style Venom. Venom was my favorite character as a kid along with or against Spider-Man, and I collected all kinds of symbiote stuff, graphic novels, comics, whatever I could of the symbiotes and Venom and the symbiote suit.
I'd love to see you basically rank and decide which Venoms are your preference and why. I think Capcom really understood the shape of Venom and how Eddie Brock should look as well, and something around that shape might be favorite. I'm also looking at the Maximum Carnage shape, and the 5 inch ToyBiz one wasn't too much of a problem in the shape for me either, I like Venom to be kind of top heavy, maybe even somewhat like the new Sgt. Slaughter figure, kind of a Gorilla that shoots black sludge everywhere. One of the best toy versions, which you can also show and compare, might be the Mafex Venom, which has a nice Eddie Brock head and the top heavy body somewhat, but I'd like the figure to be larger overall. The Deluxe one is too hulking. You already made this video with "Which Eddie is Best" but you could, if you wanted to, not only mention that but quickly show and mention some of the shapes and general sizes again when comparing this latest versions.
Shartimus does a comparison of some in his Animated Venom figure video.
When I see the two together, the animated and Shartimus' custom version which is basically the same as this Knull 2-Pack version, the Knull version looks better to me and maybe just totally fine as my Venom, but then I have the movie version one still anyway, so maybe I'll stick to that. That is because it is really expensive for just Venom if I don't care too much for Knull, but hopefully you'll show Knull up close more and it won't look as boring as in the sales photos. I don't know, it seems unlikely that I'll get this version, but it appears to be the best version around so far, even though I might like Venom to be bulkier looking, thicker in some ways, with legs better matching a bulkier upper body. There is a slenderness about this version that is pretty cool but also isn't quite hitting what I had imagined Venom to be like based on the depictions I was used to, like the cover art where he is in the sewer on top of a lot of skulls or something. I can't seem to find it now, but it was the cover of an old comic collection or graphic novel.
I'm seeing a lot of images where Venom seems to be heavier on top, with thicker legs as well, and sort of more gorilla like.

I’ll probably get them from Dorkside Toys. I don’t collect the Symbiotes usually, but seeing Knull next to Spiderman his sheer size is awesome. He’ll give great presents to the display. And Venom does look really good. The head sculpts are nice.
