I have had tinnitus for 10 months. As a 70 year old RN who is now working hospice, I am just starting research on this. Thank you for addressing this misunderstood hidden problem. Looking forward to your progress along with others in this area!

I'm 67. I have hard tinnitus for a good 20 years plus. I suffer in both ears where my left side is worse. I shot guns, worked in a lumber mill with high pitch saws, etc. As for my have many serious health issues including aortic valve replacement, stage 3 kidney disease, copd, sleep apnea and more. I'm on disability because of my health and living on SSA makes paying for the Lenire machine or other monthly services like Treble Health impossible.
I have been to two different ENT and Audiologist, and I have tried two different hearing aid companies, Starkey and Phonak. Phonak has helped in my hearing. My tinnitus is worst at night during the removal of my hearing aids. Yes I use white noise at night but would be open to any possibility to live without the constant high pitch ring.

People with tinnitus need something, I started to believe in the possibility of hell existing after acquiring tinnitus, as in fact it is torment until death. Millions are in this level of torment and medicine and researchers are underfunded and often few compared to other diseases and symptoms. Tinnitus is hell on earth, take care of your ears, the importance of taking care of your ears should be taught at school and at every medical appointment. Sinusitis ruined the quality of my life, today I survive. The scientific community should pay much more attention to this problem and not to moderate cases in the media.

I have had 24/7 tinnitus since August of 1982. In 1982, the practice was to learn to live with the constant sound. While it is not always bothersome, it is something that never stops. I find the data from my Apple Watch very helpful in monitoring my health. I could always use better tools in dealing with tinnitus when it is bothersome. I could definitely handle it better than i currently am handling it.

I’ve had it for decades. I duplicate what it’s like with a tone generator set to 8,000cps or a little high and the volume to match what I hear. They are always astounded. “How can you live like that?”, they ask. I have no choice but to. Once a coworker exclaimed, “that’s what I hear!”

I'm an 85 year old who has been dealing with tinnitus since I got out of the USAF in 1967 afyer 8 years working around jets engines. Mine is a constant tone arounk 6KHz in both ears. I just yesterday received a set of Signia Pure C&G T 7IX hearing aids from the VA. I have a follow up visit with the VA audiologist in 5 weeks and I plan on talking to her about the proble. By the way, she used real ear measurement but didn't make any adjustments on the curves. I'm hoping that was just to allow me to get used to wearing them. If not we have a local audiologist who uses best practices. The devices were free so I guess I can spend some money getting them properly adjusted. Really enjoy your videos. I've seen on another site tha Signia has a firmware update related to Bluetooth low power.

Im 31 I started getting tinnitus after my first covid jab i got an ear infection in the same ear when I worked as a watersports instructor before covid. I had an audiogram and got diagnosed with a severe hearing loss in the same ear originally I was seen by a trainee ENT at my referal who diagnosed it as ottosclorosis when I saw a qualified ENT they had a look up my nose and saw I had sinus polyps an mri scan also showed polyps which is genetic from my dad and no trace of ottosclorosis or inner ear infection I had them removed 2 months ago and my hearing and tinnitus is slowly getting better it was low frequencies like 1khz was at (90db) i struggled with hearing and even cochlea test was showing up as normal range 30bd I had another audiogram a month ago and my 1khz frequency has gone up to 70db and cochlea is now at 20db my tinnitus in my ear is almost gone and i only sometimes get a flare up i mostly noticed it at night when I was trying to sleep and used white noise from my phone which mainly gave me something else to focus on other than the ringing I've also noticed breathing is much easier and have regained sense of smell and taste

You are an audiologist and you have a lot of information. Can you explain to me why I don’t hear ringing when I’m quiet, but when I go outside the house and hear the sounds of cars, the sounds of air conditioning, and the sounds of water, I start to hear a very loud hissing sound. Is this ringing or what?

My STRONG opinion...No such thing as hearing aids that sound good. ONLY a cure to hearing loss will help. Hearing aids all sound horrible compared to god given hearing.
Music sounds horrible through hearing aids and every other sound does as well.
I have a normal audiograms and everything sounds like sh** with or without hearing aids...professionals even from Johns Hopkins and the MAYO clinic werent able to help me!
I had bacterial sinusitis that spread to both ears from 6.26.20 - 6.6.2020. A negligent drs did not give me an apropiate antibiotic in time amd now my ears are ruined! I had perfect hearing before and after my own voice sounds ******* strange. Sounds are very uncomfortable.
This is when i learned nobody is helpful with ear problems. After seeing 4 ents and 4 neurotologists i learned once your ears are damaged your life is ruined. I was happy before my ear problems and wished to live forever and now i hate my life and don't want to get out of bed even.
Psychiatrist and therapist dont help ...i just need a cure for my inner ear damage! Nothing else will help.
My own ***** voice causes sound sensitivity and i hate speaking when my own voice makes me uncomfortable.

Does it stop tinnitus? Cure tinnitus? Reduce tinnitus? Distract you from tinnitus? Increase tinnitus? Have no effect on tinnitus? “Soothe” your tinnitus (official product marketing language). Or make you forget about your tinnitus? All of these statements have been attributed to this device, so in other words, it has the same effect as doing nothing at all. Therefore, it is as effective/ineffective as doing nothing, or as effective/ineffective as any other placebo.

You have a level 1-2 tinnitus thats clearly been documented in several of your videos. You hyped Lenire for your own self use then never reported back use results Then there is your very biased paid promotion of lenire and hearing aids. Now you're once again trying to cash in with those of us with moderate and severe tinnitus smh.

You need a THI that is >37 in order to receive benefit based on research. I do not have a 37 THI. I am currently working on a video regarding that topic so give me some time before you start throwing around accusations.
