The dark magician does special summon himself. As long as you control gold sarch. You are probably thinking about the summoned skull that does take your normal summon
it's cool, but the thing I don't like about DM is that it searches DM cards (most of them are useless in the deck, Destined Rivals is situational), and Gadget Trio can only set 1 trap that's not worth playing, and you pay half and Swordsman Zero was almost good if it was monster negate. maybe you like this type of design, but you need to test it vs the tier 1 decks to be able to see if it's worth playing, losing every time even when going first is not fun. they may save the deck with future support but as it stands it's casual. what you think?
Agreed idk why they were so scared of making the trap just be a barrier and dm just search any shing spell or trap cards but now we have more useless dm support cards!
Dark Magician the Ebon Sorcerer can be special summoned if Shining Sarcophagus is on the field. It's the same requirement as Gandora-G to be summoned, just need the Shining Sarcophagus on the field. It's a lot better of a card since it can be special summoned like this, which is not accurate to your thoughts about the new support for Shining Sarcophagus deck.
I think it’s a solid 8/10. It’ll be interesting to see how they handle the rarities - Fiendsmith, White Woods, Gimmick Puppet, Exodia and Tenpai are all gonna be highly sought after, so it should be very interesting. Cant wait to see what the TCG theme is 😊
White Woods will be in almost every deck that has spellcaster synergies with it. It will be every where just like Snake-Eyes and Spright are in multiple decks.
Nu-2 has been insane in my games. Drytron can play through a ton of interruptions. Im sure someones gonna optimize it, its going to be high Rogue for sure. Also this idea the new boss is hard to summon is overblown, its actually really easy with nu2
@@6210classickdoes 2 interruptions are floodgates, its kinda rare for a deck to not die if u throw those 2 at them Except decks like tenpai for exemple
Centurion is better than people give it credit for after the new tuner cones out because the cost for Cosmic Blazars' negate is it banishes itself till the end phase and in later turns you can make Packbit and use Crimson Dragon to special summon Crystal Wing Synchro. Thats a lot since you can run Awakening. Additionally in Ceturion White Wood the only Centurion monsters you need is 1 Primera, 1 Emet, 1 Gargoyle, and 1-3 copies of Trudea to function properly and combined with White Woods it gains the ability to Synchro into lv.10s and it gains 2 tuners.
Dark Magician does special itself, so it's not as bad as you make it out to be, but it still doesn't solve the deck's biggest problem, which is over reliance on the continuous spell which has very limited access due to the only monster that searches it being the Gadget Trio. If the DM had been something like a CyDra that also places the Sarc, then the deck would really be good
White Woods will be tier 0 as a Spright deck. Spright has almost all of the negates and removal and White Woods gives you infinite fodder for Spright Red and Carrot. Also White woods adds 2-3 interruptions and gives Spright powerful boss monsters. I once made the decision to negate Ash Blossom and believe my opponent didn't have Nibiru and they had Nibiru. It didn't matter though because despite having a lot of non-engine Sprights' ability to just keep on going despite how small the package is allowed me to win. I could have taken 1 more hand trap and I still would have been fine. Witchwolfs effect being in a synchro deck is to your benefit because on your follow-up turn you can make Red Dragon Archfiend. Astoria is just so good for both sides of the deck and Forbidden Droplet can almost be as good as Master Peace in any White Woods deck. This is part of why I play 2 Woes. Two Woes is is good in the grind game and it makes Forbidden Droplets that much more powerful. Say your up against Manaddium. You can use Dark Ruler No More but it can get negated by Reframing. But if you use Droplets sending Woes and a monster they can't respond with monster and trap effects.
I love the fact that people are scared of tenpai dragon who has an effect related to battle phase which people generally consider shit, and now its tier 1 lol
I will say raika becomes about high Rouge with that new lvl 4. Get out pretty much anything that can help you. Memento becomes high Rouge or slightly better with that new fusion and the sheep. Drytron definitely coming back and will be pretty good I would say once it comes out.
Sad he doesnt realize how stron Ebon Sorcerer is in the new Sarc support. DM the Ebon Sorceree literally got banned from being used in a tournament. Thats how good it is with Dark Magic Mirror Force
I played Memento a lot with the new support. Sorry, but this deck does not work. It is true that you have about 12 cards, any one of which is a full combo, but the deck dies with a single hand trap, and if you manage to complete it, you will die from a second hand trap. Also, using super poly is necessary, but that will hinder your game in a way. Big because of tatsunootoshigo. Yes, the deck is better with the new support, but I don’t see it higher than the rouge rating, but it has potential. You can play up to 12 hand trap with 12 starting cards, with some things. It has a strong first turn if your opponent does not have a hand trap, but shifter, droll is deadly. A few times I was able to play under droll, but you need a perfect hand. My final rating for the deck is between 7.5 and 7.8, good rouge deck but not the best
Way better than LEDE. The Fiendsmith and Millennium engines alone are better than anything in LEDE. Fiendsmith is basically the next Diabellestar, with Millennium being the next Horus.
Going to try and pull/buy the Light and Darkness support cards for my deck. This build can finally be competitive. I am excited for the future of this game. All the best. 🤍🖤💜

I think it’s a 10/10 tbh. So much gas in this set it’s kind of redonculous

Hopefully they’re all evenly spread out so none of them are overly expensive, but all have some value.
White Woods will be in almost every deck that has spellcaster synergies with it. It will be every where just like Snake-Eyes and Spright are in multiple decks.
The Fiendsmith, Millennium Caveman, and Purulia will all likely be expensive Secret Rares.
The new Exodia cards seem like a lot of fun. I'm looking forward to White Woods and Fiendsmith the most, though

I love the fact that people are scared of tenpai dragon who has an effect related to battle phase which people generally consider shit, and now its tier 1 lol
Well its mostly because the field spell makes disruption unviable
Been hilarious watching people go from meming on the deck and calling it FIRE War Rocks to whining that it’s too busted lmao
That's what happen when people bullied konami over War Rock, so they decided to make something people will cry about it battle phase related.
This set is great 8.5/10
I’m only after the tenpai, centur-ion, white wood and that new trap hand trap and base maxx c
