This is absolutely phenomenal! I’ve seen thousands of tiny home builds, but Indigo’s built herself a palace. I’m literally speechless by the quality of her work and the spectacular finished product! Congratulations Indigo!
This should be a national project really instead of council houses, where you come away trained in skills on top of having a house which is recycled and can be easily removed once it's done

Oh wow, I'm absolutely amazed! Teenagers building their own house, learning such great skills, congratulations, i admire you! Did Indigo get help or did she have to do everything by herself? It's probably more fun having a team with you. Have you thought about inviting people to help build? There's lots of us who'd love to help build tiny houses and at the same time learn by doing.
These aren't amazing because kids built them, they would be amazing no matter who built them.

well done but i was a lot more interested where do they get electrical and water from and also, where does the water and waste go?
Thay are plugged into the house electrics for now , it’s a compost toilet and water from the mains for now , as time goes on we will sort the self sufficient side , hope that answers you questions x bill
@@inbillsmind3048 I'm guessing you're the Dad from the video? If so, huge congratulations to you and your family! It sounds like you've given your kids a wonderful education (in practical, eco housebuilding skills, project management, confidence that they can achieve whatever they put their minds to, and more) that will help them throughout their lives, as well giving them their own space as teens.
The trailers are such a lovely idea - a stepping stone between living at home and moving out on their own fully.

Our current project isn't nearly as fun as your family's! Right now we're saving like mad to try and buy a piece of woodland. Our plan is to make it into a great wildlife habitat, where we can escape to when we need to switch off (hubby & I both work for the NHS &, after the last few years, escape time is needed!). The long term plan is to put some eco builds (without foundations) on for storage purposes, along with a little compost loo to use while we're there. It's a long way off, but hopefully we'll get there.
Seeing your kids getting stuck into their projects definitely encourages me to keep pushing to achieve ours. Please pass on my thanks to them for the inspiration! 👍 x

Or when they are told it’s green land and to move them completely !!!! You can’t just put up living quarters anywhere you like that’s for sure !
Council tax is only payed by people who are working, they are children.
