I'm like 3 weeks into the freeform journey but my scalp kinda itchy I use the Watsons natural clarifying tea tree shampoo and wash twice a week is there something extra I should be doing
Ayy!! Sounds like you doing good! I would recommend cutting back on the wash frequency. This early in the journey - once a week OR once every week and a half, is completely fine for this early in the journey. Unless your doing intense workouts everyday or do activities that get your hair dirty/buildup. Hope this helps!

I started washing mine with cold water and doing your drying method should I get them done are keep going full free form
Up to you man! hahaha hope the drying method works. I like freeform but manicured locs are also beautiful. My head too big for manicured but yours may be better. All up to preference and you can always revert back no matter which direction you go at first!
I think once I get stable in my career I might try free forms. Right now I have manicured locs
What's the best way to start Freeforms....Like with a twist style or nothing....
Probably twist style personally I didn’t because I deal with dandruff so u can see my scalp
Just wash your hair and don't do nothing to it or if you want to twist that would be semi freeformed

ok so like i started my freeform about 2 weeks ago and my stuff like the real thick and goes downwards and in the middle of my head i got like two locs that stand up is this a bad sign
Not at all - your hair will change everyday. Most of my locs stick up too! completely normal - once they get longer, gravity will make them fall

when you freeform...at first does your hair part by itself? cause they look like bald spots rn.
Depends on the method! But if you’re doing any sort of palm rolling, sponge, or toweling, than yup! You’re hair will separate a bit out by itself. If your using these methods, I recommend just doing it a little less frequently than you currently are. So some new growth can come in and you keep the roots a’💪🏾
If you’re just letting things be from a Afro, something like this will take a tad bit longer but you’ll start to see some separation later in the process/less frequently. Hope this helps!
@@DOMIBOY it did thank you! another question related to that....is it still free forming if i brush my hair with my hand? Like just give it a good 1-3 brushes to make it look neat after washing and not have little hairs sticking out?
Go vegan, that will help. Or at least plant based or vegetarian. Meat is the only food with cholesterol. 1 month free-form. Just got hip to u a few days ago.
